I have the Abisko wool shirt in the long and short sleeve models. When I had a bad fall in Argentina and broke my arm, I had on the long sleeve version. The arm was badly damaged, but the shirt still looks great. I look forward to wearing it when I get my arm out of the cast. Now I can wear only the ones with short sleeves and REALLY wish they came in other colors.

[ Recently returned from an extremely hot and humid vacation in Key West. Temps in the 90's. Dewpoint 75 or higher every day. Heat index of 110. I brought 2 of these Echo T- Shirts with me and lived in them. Very light and breathable and the only tops I had that did not stick to my hot and sweaty body. They wicked well and offer SPF protection. How this is accomplished in such lightweight material is a mystery to me. And no... they are not see- through like so many other lightweight options. I 'm a big fan of the modest v- neck these shirts have. I do wish they were and in or two shorter, but that's my personal preference. I highly recommend the Echo T- Shirt and the Echo Sun Hoody. Fantastic all around.

[ On a whim, I picked up a Canyon SS prior to hiking into Havasu Falls on the Havasupai reservation. We hiked into the falls in early July, with daily average temperatures in the low triple digits. I found this shirt to be extremely comfortable, fast- drying, and quick to vent off excess heat. With a large pack on my back for the 12- mile hike, even with the Arizona sun bearing down on us, I never felt uncomfortably warm or overly soaked in sweat. The shirt managed to wick away and evaporate off the moisture at a steady, appreciated rate. Upon reaching the falls, I gave the shirt a quick rinse off in the creek and after half an hour of hang drying, the shirt was ready to be put through its paces once more. Seriously, as far as the intended function of this shirt is concerned, it performed beautifully. Plus, I find both the fit and appearance of the shirt to be really nice. I 've since placed an order for additional shirts. I really dig 'em. For the reviewer who found the shirt to hang onto odors, I did n't have that issue at all, and I used just the one Canyon shirt for the three days we spent at Havasu. And, I was with people who would have quickly pointed out that I stank. No problems with odor control.

This is my favorite everyday light jacket for so many different reasons. First I love how light and effective it is as just a little something to keep the chill away. Secondly it dries so fast it blows my mind, no complaints from me on how quick it dried up when doing some sprinkler repair. It is very comfortable and has a very nice appealing look to it when worn. A cool feature on the women's version that my wife pointed out is the hole in the hood for a ponytail when running. Will definitely be buying another if this one ever wears out.

This is my favourite Base layer hoodie for day to day and backpacking. There is a nice wide brim on it to shade your face. The fit is relaxed so it never feels uncomfortable. The sleeves are long enough to cover your hands to keep them shaded. The fabric is crazy breathable and dries super fast. The hoody is a bit heavy at 170grams but not having to use a stupid ball cap on my head more than makes up for that.

I really like the size of the hood and the fact that it covers your neck. If you wear it with a brimmed hat the hood protects your peripheral from sun as well. I love this shirt because it's lightest thing I 've ever worn, so soft, plus the mesh breathes like a charm. I like walking around with the hood up more than wearing a hat, I still get the same protection. I bought this shirt a few weeks ago and it has quickly become my favorite running/hiking/gym shirt. It's so comfortable, the fit is absolutely perfect( everything from the slightly longer sleeves to the shorter- length torso), and most of all the material is the most breathable, heat- shedding material I 've yet to find in a shirt. Please do n't ever stop making this shirt. I 'm looking forward to trying the sun hoody next! I also own a Crater Lake sun hoody, and while the material is so soft and dreamy I find the Sunblocker to be much more breathable. Additionally, the Crater Lake is just way too long for me, so I love the short torso on this shirt.

[ Love this shirt- material and fit. While I normally wear an XL for Fjallraven( 43 Chest), a L fits me for this one. I am a trail builder and find this shirt too warm above 75 degrees with routine exertion. Cost is high for me, but I think it will serve me well.

I took this shirt with me for walking the Camino in the early fall( ~35C on the coast with no shade). I 'm very sensitive to heat( due to both MS and some of my medication), but after soaking this shirt in water, the combination of the quick evaporation and the UV protection was enough to keep me comfortable even at noon. It was great to be able to skip out on sunblock and still not end the day looking like a tomato. Like other reviewers said, it's a little rougher that ideal, but I do have to say, it held up to backpack friction much better than the Abisko wool shirt I took on the same trip and I did* not* get any irritation despite walking all day with a 10- 20kg bag for the first time. Dries very very quickly, which is great when conditions are damp.

I love this hoodie so much I bought it in four different colours. It's lightweight and softer than I expected it to be. It fits very well and is flattering and the hood is easy to wear even with a ponytail which is a nice touch. I think the only thing that could make it better would be the inclusion of a zippered pocket but it's still five stars even without that.

I work as a construction project manager in tropical Costa Rica, this shirt is nearly perfect. It's light, it shields you from the sun, and the reinforced stitches makes it durable. The downside, this type of fabric forces me to wash it everyday after work to avoid odor from sticking. I would love to see this very design but with wool, the hoodie is a must for warm climates.

[ Crazy lightweight tee perfect for hot days on the trail. I now own several of these. The first two were bought in size medium but they ’ re little tight fitting so I bought a couple more in size large. I ’ m 5 ’ 9 ” 180 lbs with really broad shoulders. Only wish is that they would remove the logo from the front of the shirt to make it look less like a workout tee so I can wear it out on the town.

I bought a couple of these for running and hiking in the humid SE summer. They have performed perfectly for that purpose and are great when paired with the super comfy Astro Shorts. I also wear a couple of Patagonia Capilene Lightweight short sleeve shirts, and I would put the Echo up against the Capilene; they are very similar in terms of fit, performance and weight. The Echo comes just a tad further below my waist line than the Capilene. Fit is great. I am 5'10 '' 165 and the medium is perfect.

The Freewheel Short Sleeve Jersey is more like a daily driver shirt over a traditional jersey. You can wear it daily for day to day tasks then hit the trail after work. The material is similar to other Outdoor Research shirts in the 2024 clothing catalog. I took the shirt for weekly rides on local trail heads in MD in spring and on the Santos Trails in FL on a work trip. The stretch is nice when you catch a sticker bush and length is nice if you have a long torso. The only con in my opinion is that a bring color would be nice for hunting seasons. I currently have the blue shirt and it looks good.

Bought this jersey at the Sea Otter Classic Expo, and wore it on the mountain bike tour. Loved the extra length in the back and the way the seam design at the shoulders and the stretch fabric gave me freedom of movement on the bike all day. Finally got the chance to ride in this. Breathable and is a nice fabric. I do n't see a huge difference between riding in this versus any tech fabric shirt though. It also feels big. I think a snugger fit would help as I worry about snagging it on branches.

[ So I bought it. I love comfort, practicality, durability and of course to look amazing as well. This tee seems pretty great! I 'm glad I got two of them. I hope the material lasts well. It feels like it might snag or something but that could just be the nature of it. It's delightfully airy and cut pretty nice for a youthful and playful dresser. Merino clothes are so good, and it's getting a lot of wear. I 'm 5' 4 '' maybe like 130 lbs. I find it highly flattering. Seemed to wash well but of course I did delicate and no dryer. Would be careful what I washed with. Ideally a bag for laundering seems smart.
