[ Recently returned from an extremely hot and humid vacation in Key West. Temps in the 90's. Dewpoint 75 or higher every day. Heat index of 110. I brought 2 of these Echo T- Shirts with me and lived in them. Very light and breathable and the only tops I had that did not stick to my hot and sweaty body. They wicked well and offer SPF protection. How this is accomplished in such lightweight material is a mystery to me. And no... they are not see- through like so many other lightweight options. I 'm a big fan of the modest v- neck these shirts have. I do wish they were and in or two shorter, but that's my personal preference. I highly recommend the Echo T- Shirt and the Echo Sun Hoody. Fantastic all around.

[ I love the Outdoor Research Echo fabric even though some might say that it snags easily. My favorites are this t- shirt and the quarter- zip long sleeve. I live in the HOT desert and when I want to keep the sun from baking my skin, this is what I reach for. These shirts are SO thin that it's as close to wearing nothing that you can get. I also love them for travel as the t- shirt can pack into practicality a 2 inch cube! I could wash this shirt with a little soap in a sandwich- baggy and it would then dry in no time at all.

The material feels excellent. It ’s soft, stretches with you and is very breathable. I ’ m 6 ’ 5( 195cm) 240lbs( 108kg) I usually wear a XXL for most tops. When I was in store trying it on all that was available was an XL and it fit really well. The buttons have a satisfying mechanical click, and the zippered pocked is dual purpose both acting as a wallet storage/pop socket storage and the second purpose being ventilation. The pocket ’s equipped with a mesh which I think is what helps it be the shirt of the summer. I went ahead and still opted for a XXL and would have felt comfortable in an XL no problem. I ’ d like to see more colors, a long sleeve version and perhaps a long sleeve padded version for the winter. The problem I ’ d say is when you buy one color, you want to buy the other color, which I did. I ’ d recommend this shirt if you ’ re on the fence.

I bought a couple of these for running and hiking in the humid SE summer. They have performed perfectly for that purpose and are great when paired with the super comfy Astro Shorts. I also wear a couple of Patagonia Capilene Lightweight short sleeve shirts, and I would put the Echo up against the Capilene; they are very similar in terms of fit, performance and weight. The Echo comes just a tad further below my waist line than the Capilene. Fit is great. I am 5'10 '' 165 and the medium is perfect.

Great wool baselayer- lighter than some of my heavier ones, which is exactly what I needed for touring. Does n't get too hot on the uphill compared to the heaver weight merino baselayers I have, still keeps my warm enough, easy to layer with, really enjoying it!

I bought this for my husband and its one of the most worn items in his closet. He has a really muscular build, so he is always looking for low- bulk layers and this is perfect. He likes that he can go directly from a zoom call( looks dressy enough on screen) to working outside( durable) to skiing( warmth under a ski jacket). Great fit, very warm and durable. It is as warm as any other merino baselayer I have used the only complaint that I could have with the product is that it is a bit rough and itchy compared to some of the other merino blend baselayers I have used. That being said this is a great value for how warm it is and I would gladly sacrifice with a bit of itchiness for how warm it is an how well it dries.

This is my third Icebreaker t- shirt. I 'm a runner and these shirts are perfect for warm weather running. Besides the obvious benefits of wool, like no odor( allows several runs before washing), and excellent sweat wicking, but they are also soft. If you 're a man and wear the typical polyester tech shirt, you are prone to nipple chafing from a polyester shirt on long, warm weather runs. Even mitigation actions like lubricants on the nipple do not fully work. But wool is so soft, I 've never chafed a nipple since wearing them. These are my preferred running shirts. And... I love the `` molten '' color.

I have this tee in 4 colours. Definitely agree that you need to size up as it ’s small fitting. Fjallraven have some strange sizing. I ’ m L in Vardag anorak, XL in Greenland Winter Jacket and XXL in tees. Minor criticism, could do with the neck of the tee being tighter.
