Sleeves are good length but would n't have minded another inch. Thumb holes would have been nice. I have to maneuver a little to get it over my chest( 46 inch) but it's not a problem, just noticeable. The material has a nice stretch to it. Might have a shirt on underneath or nothing under depending on temperature and wind. Love the hood fit with or without a hat. Zipped up the hood stays on well. Zippers work well. I 've washed it several times now and the material and color still look new. Washing on delicate and hang dry. I like it so much I might get another.

I brought 2 of these Echo T- Shirts with me and lived in them. Very light and breathable and the only tops I had that did not stick to my hot and sweaty body. They wicked well and offer SPF protection. How this is accomplished in such lightweight material is a mystery to me. And no... they are not see- through like so many other lightweight options. I 'm a big fan of the modest v- neck these shirts have. I do wish they were and in or two shorter, but that's my personal preference. I highly recommend the Echo T- Shirt and the Echo Sun Hoody. Fantastic all around.

This is my favorite everyday light jacket for so many different reasons. First I love how light and effective it is as just a little something to keep the chill away. Secondly it dries so fast it blows my mind, no complaints from me on how quick it dried up when doing some sprinkler repair. It is very comfortable and has a very nice appealing look to it when worn. A cool feature on the women's version that my wife pointed out is the hole in the hood for a ponytail when running. Will definitely be buying another if this one ever wears out.

This is my favourite Base layer hoodie for day to day and backpacking. There is a nice wide brim on it to shade your face. The fit is relaxed so it never feels uncomfortable. The sleeves are long enough to cover your hands to keep them shaded. The fabric is crazy breathable and dries super fast. The hoody is a bit heavy at 170grams but not having to use a stupid ball cap on my head more than makes up for that.

I really like the size of the hood and the fact that it covers your neck. If you wear it with a brimmed hat the hood protects your peripheral from sun as well. After thru hiking the Continental Divide Trail wearing this as my everyday shirt with a backpack on it showed very little wear. Great shirt!

I love this shirt because it's lightest thing I 've ever worn, so soft, plus the mesh breathes like a charm. I like walking around with the hood up more than wearing a hat, I still get the same protection. I got the darker Navy color and have no problem, does n't feel like it's getting too warm from the sun's rays. [ On a whim, I picked up a Canyon SS prior to hiking into Havasu Falls on the Havasupai reservation. We hiked into the falls in early July, with daily average temperatures in the low triple digits. I found this shirt to be extremely comfortable, fast- drying, and quick to vent off excess heat. With a large pack on my back for the 12- mile hike, even with the Arizona sun bearing down on us, I never felt uncomfortably warm or overly soaked in sweat. The shirt managed to wick away and evaporate off the moisture at a steady, appreciated rate. Upon reaching the falls, I gave the shirt a quick rinse off in the creek and after half an hour of hang drying, the shirt was ready to be put through its paces once more. Seriously, as far as the intended function of this shirt is concerned, it performed beautifully. Plus, I find both the fit and appearance of the shirt to be really nice. I 've since placed an order for additional shirts. I really dig 'em. For the reviewer who found the shirt to hang onto odors, I did n't have that issue at all, and I used just the one Canyon shirt for the three days we spent at Havasu. And, I was with people who would have quickly pointed out that I stank. No problems with odor control.

[ This shirt is amazing, I could wear it for days without noticing that it's even there. The lightweight fabric has stood up to hiking with a full pack, bouldering and scrambling as well as climbing a tree or two. The vents help to keep me cool on trails as hot as 90 degrees and also help me look cool in town. I have n't used the pockets with a pack on but love them in town. They 're big enough to hold my wallet and phone comfortably.

I took this shirt with me for walking the Camino in the early fall( ~35C on the coast with no shade). I 'm very sensitive to heat( due to both MS and some of my medication), but after soaking this shirt in water, the combination of the quick evaporation and the UV protection was enough to keep me comfortable even at noon. It was great to be able to skip out on sunblock and still not end the day looking like a tomato. Like other reviewers said, it's a little rougher that ideal, but I do have to say, it held up to backpack friction much better than the Abisko wool shirt I took on the same trip and I did* not* get any irritation despite walking all day with a 10- 20kg bag for the first time. Dries very very quickly, which is great when conditions are damp.

I have bought 5 of them in both men and women sizing. I find them great. They are a life saver in the LA valley heat! I wear them almost everyday in the summer, I ’ m a commuter so trying to get as much sun protection is very important. I am between sizes so I sized up. I might just buy the new wool option.

I love this hoodie so much I bought it in four different colours. It's lightweight and softer than I expected it to be. It fits very well and is flattering and the hood is easy to wear even with a ponytail which is a nice touch. I think the only thing that could make it better would be the inclusion of a zippered pocket but it's still five stars even without that.

I work as a construction project manager in tropical Costa Rica, this shirt is nearly perfect. It's light, it shields you from the sun, and the reinforced stitches makes it durable. The downside, this type of fabric forces me to wash it everyday after work to avoid odor from sticking. I would love to see this very design but with wool, the hoodie is a must for warm climates.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

The Freewheel Short Sleeve Jersey is more like a daily driver shirt over a traditional jersey. You can wear it daily for day to day tasks then hit the trail after work. The material is similar to other Outdoor Research shirts in the 2024 clothing catalog. I took the shirt for weekly rides on local trail heads in MD in spring and on the Santos Trails in FL on a work trip. The stretch is nice when you catch a sticker bush and length is nice if you have a long torso. The only con in my opinion is that a bring color would be nice for hunting seasons. I currently have the blue shirt and it looks good.

Bought this jersey at the Sea Otter Classic Expo, and wore it on the mountain bike tour. Loved the extra length in the back and the way the seam design at the shoulders and the stretch fabric gave me freedom of movement on the bike all day. Finally got the chance to ride in this. Breathable and is a nice fabric. I do n't see a huge difference between riding in this versus any tech fabric shirt though. It also feels big. I think a snugger fit would help as I worry about snagging it on branches.

Was looking for some lounging shorts- and these are near perfect. I have not been able to find that mesh pocket on the center back... nor did my pair have the Nut logo on the right rear thigh. These are n't deal breakers to me, but descriptive accuracy is lacking.

I travel quit a bit and wanted a pair of shorts that I could work out in, trail run, swim in, etc. Also wanted something that would dry quickly. These are great for that. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. Got the shorts with the AirShell Hoody and together they 're a great combo. Would recommend as a all purpose trail short.
