He picked out 2 and wore them during our vacation at the beach last week. My husband liked the fit and wore them at the pool and out during the day. The sun was out most of the day, but the hoodie kept me cool and comfortable the entire time. The lightweight material breathes well, and whenever I got splashed or worked up a sweat, it dried very quickly. The hood provided great extra sun protection on the water without feeling bulky or restrictive. Even after hours in the sun and wind, the shirt stayed comfortable and never felt heavy or damp. I ’ m not a huge fan of sunburn especially since it happens easily for me. If I get out in the sun, I slather on the highest SPF I can find. I ’ ve been looking for a shirt like this for a while and decided to try Columbia ’s version. The shirt is super lightweight and feels nice. To test it out, I wore it in the yard while sawing some wood and while I was hot in the sun, I didn ’ t look like a lobster. That ’s a thumbs up from me.
