This is my first real `` swimming '' suit. I have always worn tankinis, but they have been getting trashed by twice- a- week lap swimming. I never would have thought that I would buy and wear a one piece swimsuit as a 55 yr old woman--- far too revealing. However, I really like this swimsuit! It will feel very snug, but it has held up quite well to the chlorine and wringing out. I 've been using it twice a week for several months, and it appears almost new. You MUST order two sizes up. So, if you are normally an 8, you need to buy a 12. And it will still feel very snug. I like how the legs are n't too high, and the lycra does n't give out( sag) in the behind. Color still looks good, not faded. A very solid swimmer's suit.

Purchased 3 months ago for AquaFit class. The stretch and support of this suit has continued to hold up very well which justifies the higher initial cost. Previously buying a new fashion swimsuit every 3 months! Chlorine and then hot water in the spa are not the friend of the fashion suits. Very happy and very comfortable suit. This is the second version of this suit I purchased. The first one does n't have sleeves. I originally bought it to add warmth to my lap swim because I get cold easily. It worked for that, and I am happy with the other features: fits well, wears well so far. I am 67 so would prefer to have more of my fanny covered, but I wear another suit under it. I was a bit disappointed that the sleeves are not lined with the same fabric as the body, but they will help with sun exposure. I have a broad chest and thin torso, so it's a bit tight when I close the zipper. My first one is the pink and loved the color to start, but it has faded.

Now that I ’ m older I prefer a more conservative lap swimsuit compared to dolfins other swimsuits. This swimsuit doesn ’ t have the bra cups which is something I actually prefer because bra cups tend to move around when you swim. The swimsuit gives a lot of support and coverage. The thing I don ’ t like about the swimsuit is that the top is a bit narrow so if you ’ re a heavy chested woman you may get some spillage on the sides. Overall, for me it ’s a great lap suit that I hope they will make more just like this.
