These shirts are very warm and lightweight, BUT… I suggest you go up a size because these shirts are extremely tight and run small. Just to add context, I wear a size large in sweaters, vests, and jackets. Just to move my arms, I had to get an Extra Large just for it fit like a Large. I have other “ Nike Pro ” items, and it ’s the same with all of them. Just go up one size and save yourself time, money, and discomfort.

I got this primarily for motorcycling in colder weather. It works great. I can wear this with my jacket and jacket liner and I do n't have to wear other layers. I 've only used it so far riding in 50 degree weather but it was warm enough I had to turn it down or off. I usually wear a large but wanted it to fit tighter so I got a medium. The medium fits great. I would say the medium fits me perfect where normally I would wear a large t- shirt or long sleeve. Not too tight but not loose. Have n't had long enough to know how long the battery would last but have used it for a couple hours switching between high and medium and still have battery left. Would definitely use while skiing, etc

[ This base layer longsleeve uses a high quality mesh fabric that is both comfortable and breathable. Because the material is very thick and the neck collar is higher than the average normal tee, I can wear it either as a base layer or even on its own. It has kept me warm during all my gym workouts, and I do notice my sweat drying quickly off from the shirt. A 3M- reflective Nike Tech branding is shown across the chest, which gives the shirt a nicely added premium touch. I ca n't tell if the flat panels along the back of the shirt provides any sort of performance, but I do like that the design reminds me of a padded workout shirt. The fit is intended to be tight with some stretch, and while I went with my true to size, there is still some room to give more of a slim fit look. This baselayer is far from your basic undershirt, so feel free to wear it proudly on its own.

What did you think about the fabric? The fabric is easily one of my favorite aspects about the shirt. It is a thick cut yet it is very flexible and breathable. It easily handled my 5k run and a 45 minute high intensity calisthenic workout. At no point was the shirt uncomfortable or bothersome. On the contrary, the fabric dealt with the sweat in a very efficient manner. The utilization of fabrics was impressive and well thought out. Key body panels were engineered precisely to handle tough workouts. What did you like most? What would you change? As mentioned previously, the fabric is the standout feature of this shirt. Moreover, the overall quality is exemplary. It has become my# 1 workout shirt. I put it to wash immediately after each workout and after it dries, it is no different than when I first tried it on. I constantly get complimented on the shirt and this proves that quality and attention to detail was definitely a focal point for this shirt when it was designed. I wouldn ’ t change anything on this shirt. It is perfect.
