[ I have a couple of these hoodies and I love them for outdoor activity. The material is light enough to wear when it's hot, but just wind- blocking enough to be good for a slight chill. The sun protection is top notch with the thumb- loop sleeves and hood, and the pockets are perfect for whatever small items I need to take on the trail/run. I took this shirt with me for walking the Camino in the early fall( ~35C on the coast with no shade). I 'm very sensitive to heat( due to both MS and some of my medication), but after soaking this shirt in water, the combination of the quick evaporation and the UV protection was enough to keep me comfortable even at noon. It was great to be able to skip out on sunblock and still not end the day looking like a tomato. Like other reviewers said, it's a little rougher that ideal, but I do have to say, it held up to backpack friction much better than the Abisko wool shirt I took on the same trip and I did* not* get any irritation despite walking all day with a 10- 20kg bag for the first time. The material is a lil tough or like the other reviewer said plastic like but it is very lightweight and if you are looking to save ounces in your pack this sun hoodie is a great option. I like the thumb holes but I feel like the sleeves should be a tad longer for a better fit. I bought the orange and it ’s a beautiful color and bright on the trail. Im hoping with a few washes the shirt will soften a bit.

I work as a construction project manager in tropical Costa Rica, this shirt is nearly perfect. It's light, it shields you from the sun, and the reinforced stitches makes it durable. The downside, this type of fabric forces me to wash it everyday after work to avoid odor from sticking. I would love to see this very design but with wool, the hoodie is a must for warm climates.

Perfect length. All- season top that hits the mark on fit and comfort. Make more of these, please! As a petite- size person, most tops are too long. Not this one. I just need more colors. Two negatives-- stitching starts to unravel after a few washes in the machine. And the colors of the top are almost all universally awful! No prints or designs, please! No pastels, please! How about a vibrant blue- red? Or a royal blue? Even a forest green.

I now have two of these and will inevitably purchase more! I have a bit of a short torso so with highwaisted pants they align perfectly. I get very tired of so many women's tops going down so low that they get in the way of a harness, backpack, etc. This is perfect. It stays out of the way without losing coverage. It keeps me cooler than all other sun shirts I own, despite it being black. I can not say enough good things about this shirt. [ This hoodie can go everywhere from hiking to work to travel. I initially got a small size. It would work great with a sports bra or tank for more streamline effect. Otherwise great purchase for a versatile piece that I will use as a base layer in cooler weather and a sun shield/primary layer in the summer. Fabric is soft and more like a regular tee in look and feel than most summer PFG shirts. Still Omni- wick.
