It was 40° today so almost warm enough to not need gloves, but I hardly even notice I 'm wearing these( since they 're not overly bulky) so I grabbed them anyways. My knees were totally shredded through my leggings and bleeding with the skin all torn up. But my palms- TOTALLY unscathed!!!! There's no rips on the gloves and my palms are totally in good shape. I was expecting those gloves to be good, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore them, I was outside for six hours in steady rain and near- freezing temperatures. My hands were the driest part of me. Not that these are waterproof- they aren't- but the grid fleece on the backs of the hands wicks and breathes so well that my body heat dried the gloves faster than they could get wet. My hands stayed warm and dry, and the fingers were still dextrous enough that I could work outside. Love these and will be buying more, plus anything else made of Vigor Plus fleece that I can get my hands on. Big improvement in fit over the previous year's model as well.
