This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Thank God fijallraven has started making long inseams for womens keb. Iam 5'11 '' with a 33 '' inseam, and women's were never long enough. I purchased men's, but they of course do n't fit my hips right. I can finally purchase a pair of kebs that fit me, and of course as per usual fijallraven, quality is excellent. For reference, I am 5'11 '', 170lbs with a curvy to athletic build and the 40 fit perfectly.
