I 've been wearing UA cold gear from twenty years ago but these will definitely keep the cold out! Definitely can wear them for snowboarding, sports in extreme weather, or even motorcycle riding to keep your leg muscles intact unconsciously that I sometimes forget that I was wearing one! A recommend to everyone who snowboards. Heat tech version is outstanding as well by keeping you dry during hot seasons! These are my daily go- to capris. I ordered this pair because I know my original pair will eventually wear out, although when I pulled them both out of the wash, I could not tell them apart. The knees do not even bag! My original reason for choosing this particular item was the cellphone pocket. This is a must for me. I am amazed that my phone does not cause these capris to sag, even on a cardio walk. The fabric does not wick so I do have to change after vigorous exercise but they are fine for everyday wear. I hope that the 2nd pair is the same quality as the first.

[ These are definitely more teal than green. The picture online looked more emerald green to me. That being said, these leggings are buttery soft. The stitched piping on each leg can transition from workout to going out when paired with the right outer wear. Pockets on each side is a bonus. They are extremely comfortable. The higher waist does not roll down when lifting or doing a HIIT session. They also appear to be squat proof. Overall a very nice pair of leggings.
