Very well made flannel. It feels like thick vintage flannel from your Dad. Thinker than North Face Arroyo flannels. Reading other reviews, the size recommendations are all over the place… stick true to size. I am 6 ’ 0 ”, 170 lb with long armed canoeing/running build and bought a large in this( and wear a large across North Face and other brands of flannels). This Valley Twill fits very similar to the North Face Arroyo flannel… except this Valley Twill is about 1 ” shorter in the body. Compared to other flannels that I own this is slightly shorter in body… but everything else accurate. The Pike ’s Purple flannel color looks great and was half- off on Dick ’s website. Great value for thick flannel. Recommended.

My son bought it for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! Very comfortable and warm. He wears it as a light weight jacket.

[ It ’s a little pricey. It has that ‘ The North Face ’ price tag. But I will say; it fits well, it ’s warm and it ’s high quality. I ’ m happy with my purchase.
