We use them for hunting, playing in the snow or anytime we have to be outside for long periods of time in the cold. When I go hunting and it's super cold or wind chill of- 15. I wear mine, my husband's and my under armour sweat pants under my hunting bibs. No need for a heater at all. My son told me he needed some bigger under layers so I automatically ordered him this set. He is going to be so excited when he gets the Christmas morning. If you have multiple children you definitely need to get these. They are such a good quality and will last for years if they are taken care of. The adults sizes are pretty unisex in the bottoms. The woman's top seems to be a little more fitted for the breast.

Otherwise, this has been great for working in really cold weather. I ask for duofold wool and cotton combos, but they are impossible top find anymore. Ny wife gave me two pairs of the Platinum II Pants from ColdPruf for Christmas. They have the same insulation value as the duofold but are less bulky, and much more comfortable due to the merino wool. I like these better than my underarmor, too, easier on and off. 4. 0 is the best base layer for the price. My kids are competitive skiers in the Northeast. Our winters are harsh and with windchill the temperatures can drop below zero. Using these 4. 0 as base layers helps to keep their heat from escaping. They hold up well through washing and the boys playing/lounging in them after skiing too. They both have two sets, and I only replace once they are outgrown. I just wish they came in more colors.

I have a 2 block walk from my train station so I put the vest heat on before I get off the train and when I hit the street, it is nice and warm and you can feel the heat on the front and back inside the winter jacket. It's warm enough on# 2 setting and so far the batteries have lasted for the 4 hours I was outside with still some life in them. On# 3 you will get heat for just over 2 hours. I wish there was a bit of heat in the arms but the back and front are the most important parts of your body you want to keep warm. Overall I am very satisfied.

I have the 12v system for all day riding on my Goldwing. I use this for days when I am off and on the bike a lot because I do n't have to worry about extra wires. Also great for motorcycles that do n't have a large enough electrical system plus other non- riding adventures. Typically using the lower power modes I all day warmth. I have an extra battery that I also carry and rarely need to use it. Wear it as a thermal layer under a coat for max protection and warmth. At times I will even wear it around the house instead of turning up the thermostat. I have the fleece vest version too.

This is my second Gerbing Fleece product. My first was a 7V fleece heated sweater/jacket from Cabela's( made by Gerbing) which is still working great after 4 years. My new Gerbing Gyde Zenith Fleece Heated Jacket? Outstanding! This one has 4 heat levels instead of three and a larger capacity battery which is a welcome improvement. This heated jacket fits well, is well made and while I tried the highest heat setting just for fun, I doubt I will need to use high very often. This thing puts out some serious heat. For all day outdoor adventures, I would recommend buying a couple of extra batteries. I did. I would n't hesitate recommending this to anybody.

[ Right away I could tell this vest was high quality and super comfortable. This vest is in style and can easily be worn socially with friends and around town. The vest has a water repellent fabric and down fill, which will keep you warm in colder temperatures. The vest is very insulated and has the Nike Therma- Fit technology which is a plus. There were also pockets that are well insulated. I enjoyed the down fill was not bulky while wearing it. If I could change anything I would attempt to hide the drawstrings on both sides. However, it is a nice feature to adjust the vest with the drawstrings. While it ’s an oversized fit, it fit true to size. I loved the design of the Nike Swoosh embroidered while not being too over the top. The swoosh design elevated the vest and improves the overall outfits look.

This is the warmest vest I own thanks to the down feather lining. I love that it is real goose- down to keep me extra warm in our Idaho winters. It feels so cozy! I would say it runs a little big so if you want a boxier fit, get your true size, size down for a tighter fit.
