If you have the bottom zipped- it still gives you a form fitting hemline. I ’ m 5 ’ 2 ” and got a small. I bought this coat after having to borrow a coworkers Columbia coat at work... it was too big but was amazed with the quality and warmth it provided! After receiving my coat, we had some downright frigid temperatures with high winds and my body never felt a thing! This coat is thin and light but do n't let that fool you! It does a phenomenal job at protecting and keeping you warm! I also love the fit, very flattering! I highly recommend the sizing tool to find the right size because these run smaller than normal but the tool successfully recommended the right size in the end and I did n't have to return.( My biggest fear with ordering from brands I have n't ordered from before.) I definitely understand the popularity of this brand, the products speak for themselves but if you 're new to the brand, you ca n't go wrong with the amazing quality you 'll find with this coat!

Got this in navy and it's so stylish as well as warm. I also have the shorter Heavenly jacket and they are both great. Just wish it had a draw string on the hood, but other than that, it's perfect!
