I am happy that this fit is back to true to size. Other versions have run large and run small. I like the hidden pockets better on the previous version, but I do n't use them all the time so not a big deal for me. I love the Chaser 5 ” shorts. They are so lightweight I don ’ t even notice them. I feel the 2. 0 are slightly smaller in the waist which is perfect for me. I am 5 ’ 4 and 110lbs. I had to cinch up the original to keep them up but the XS was too tight in the butt. The 2. 0 size small fit is much better. They are pricey, but last a long time. I average 50 miles a week running and the Chasers survive washing very well. I had a pair lose the logo off the leg, but the material looks perfect. Trust me, the price is worth it. I am looking forward to long hot summer runs!

I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.
