Immediately after taking them out of the package, the fabric feels like your standard workout material, but it's heavy and looks so flattering on. I love that they have weight to them as a trouser or a jean would. They sit so nice on my waist and do n't roll down. However, the length. I am 5' 5 '' and they are super long, but have styled them with some sneakers that have a platform or give me a little lift and it's not a problem. I noticed the model in the photos was 5'10 '' and they 're just about touching the floor, so that's a great representation of how long they are. This is my first free people purchase. They are very oversized. For reference I am 5 ’ 5 and around 145- 150lbs and I ordered a medium. I wanted the oversized look, but I could ’ ve gone with a small. I think because these are not meant to be high waisted, the waist is a lot bigger than it normally would be for a medium. I do have to pull them up really high and tie them tight with the drawstring, otherwise they will drag on the ground( So, good for tall girlies!). The fabric is light weight, which is what I wanted for the summer time. I also like how they look, just wish the fit was a bit better. For comparison, I also ordered the oversized Nike sweats in a medium and those fit perfect size wise. These are bigger than those. I ordered these in several colors because they are comfortable and work well at the gym. They are on the thinner side though and in terms of sizing, I would say buy whatever your regular size is. I normally wear a XL but I ordered the XXL because I did not want them to cling to my skin( I 'm 65+) and show every lump and bump. But, I really did not have to do this and could have easily just worn my regular size. Again, they are thin and do not hold you in so if there is something that you do n't want to show, I would say get them in the darker colors or you could size up.

[ These are definitely my new go to leggings! The ribbed material makes them extra comfortable to wear while lounging around or working out. I love the big pocket in the back of the leggings for holding your phone securely. I like how you can adjust the material around the cutout to make it as visible or hidden as you ’ d like. I think the cutout is cute but my work out tops all cover it up so that part of the pant is n't as important to me. Someone who wears cropped work out tops might appreciate that detailing more. The only other thing I would note is these leggings run long. I 'm 5' 8 and they fit very well with my sneakers on but if I were shorter I probably would find them to be too long. They were also compressive enough to hold everything in and smooth all the bumps/lumps- but not at all so tight they were uncomfortable. The material is thicker than some of the other leggings I have worn/tried, very soft, and doesn ’ t attract tons of lint or pet hair( huge plus for me)! The cutout on the front of the pants are a fun detail that added some flare to basic black flare leggings! The price point is great and the fit is great! My only complaint would be that after a few wears I had some stitching that was loose. But that could have been an accidental snag possibly, since it was solely in one small area. Other than that, they have seemingly held up well thus far. I definitely recommend giving these pants a try, they won ’ t disappoint!

[ These are such soft and comfy joggers. They have just the right amount of taper at the bottom, usually joggers fit me tight around the calves but these fit perfectly and were not too snug. They are high waisted and hit right above my belly button. I would prefer not to have a ribbed band because after wearing them all day they did leave an imprint on my stomach, but other than that they were very comfortable to wear. The inside of the joggers were a soft fleece, but they were not too thick, they felt like wearing really soft sweatpants. Normally in sweats and joggers I like to wear a Medium to have a looser fit, but the Small was just right where I had enough room to move around and not feel constricted. These are great joggers to run errands in or to put on after a hot yoga class.
