Please Go Back To The Original Ankle, Brooks!

I have been wearing Ghosts since the 6. I always love the shoe. My takeaway is I should have bought 3 Ghost 15s to help me get through this series and I hope the 18 will go back to the ankle shape of previous models. I think the sole feels amazing as always, but I have never had a shoe that stiffly pokes the ball of my ankle the way this shoe does. I've run 30-40 miles in it and every time I put it on my ankle feels like it has a small bruise on the ball of my ankle from the new design. It's a lower ankle with a high stiff back, and a stiff side wall. I will probably get used to it eventually, but I don't feel I should have to do that with 150 dollar running shoe. Please when you make the 18s don't try and get cute with the ankle design.

Comfortable Shoe

Bought for my hubby who hasn’t really worn this style, he loved them. Says they’re like walking on air!

Comfy And No Knee Pain

Used other shoes to run outside (concrete) and had knee pain. These ghost 17 have helped me with 0 knee pain and the cushion is amazing. They keep my ankle from rolling as well.
