Live Bait System

This feature allows you basically to free spool your live when a fish picks up the bait and run off without your having to beholding the rod. All that’s needed is to pick up rod and turn reel handle to engage drag. Fish On!

I have a 6000 D and it's great, went on a Striper Charter and they had the 12000, was great, so I bought one. Works awesome.

This Reel Has Everything I Need In A Fishing Reel. I Have A Smaler Version Of The Same Reel And This One Is Even More Perfect For Me.

I have a cal star rod that I have put this reel on. It is the perfect match. I am going to use it to catch stripers in the river. I am also going to use it to catch cat fish in our local lakes. I might even use it to ocean fish. I have put 12lb test line on the reel and believe that this is going to be just right for my fishing needs.

Looks like a lot winner although I have not been able to use it looks like it would work for the best with the ability to allow the bait out with ease the rest of the functions i would have to get back to you

The Best Reel I've Ever Owned

I've been salt water fishing for over thirty years and have snapped plenty of lines. With this reel combo'd with an ugly stick and PowerPro Spectra Green Braided Fishing Line, I have not snapped a single line. That's from flukes to small sharks.
