HOW IT WORKS
Mail in your bat using prepaid postage or take your bat to a local DICK’S store and find a store teammate to assist you with your trade-in. Shipping is free for trade-ins valued at $100 or more.
If you’re trade-in is successful, you’ll receive a DICK’S gift card to use towards a future purchase. You’ll get an e-gift card for online trade-ins and a physical gift card on the spot for in-store trade-ins.

- Enter the necessary details about your bat through the online form
- Bring or print your quote to your local DICK’S and give it to an associate
- If your bat is in acceptable condition, get paid with a DICK’S gift card

TRADE-IN GUIDELINES
Give us your gently used baseball or softball bat in good condition that other customers could put to use. If your bat is accepted by SidelineSwap, you’ll receive a DICK'S Sporting Goods promotional gift card for the trade-in value. See gift card TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Trade-ins are discretionary and subject to the following guidelines:
- Baseball and Softball bats must meet current certification (BBCOR, USSSA, USA, etc.).
- Bat must not be dented or cracked and grip must be in good condition.
- Bats must not exhibit a rattling sound in the barrel and end cap must not be loose or broken.
- Bat should not have a dent larger than a nickel or exhibit any bending in the barrel.
- Bat must be clean and free from mold, mildew, and dirt.
- Bat should be no older than five years old.
- Bat must be the property of the person trading-in.
- The bat should generally have an original value of $100+. Items that sold for less than $100 when new, generally have little to no residual value.
- The bat must be from the top main brands by sport. Knock-offs, generic brands, and counterfeits will not be accepted.
