Love this paddle! Right off the bat, it felt light and had a great feel. I bought it because I have tennis elbow and other paddles aggravate it, but this one does not at all. Will be using for all games! Thanks for speedy shipping too.

I bought the racquet because I 'd played worth it, and knew I liked its responsiveness, light weight and feel in the hand. The Franklin buying experience was excellent too, helped by the discount code my pickleball teacher gave me.

I started out with an inexpensive paddle, but once I started playing more and learning more about the paddles I wanted to upgrade. After a fair amount of research and consideration, I decided on this paddle and have not been disappointed. I noticed immediate improvement in my game. Better control in general. Fewer balls traveling out of the back of the court and better grip for applying spin. Very happy with my purchase.

I have been playing pickleball for about 10 months. I started with a decent SLK beginner paddle which was fine but I was ready to step up my game. I did a huge amount of research and finally settled on the Selkirk Vanguard Pro Invikta paddle. While slightly narrower than my other paddle, I immediately noticed the improvemet in control and power while playing. I am able to increase spin on the ball and can more effectively direct power shots. The grip is comfortable enough to play for hours at a time. Highly recommend!

Very nice for someone looking to play pickleball on a regular basis!

I bought this paddle after having read the independent reviews and buyer's comments. It came highly recommended and I can see why! It has a huge sweet spot that gives the player confidence that the ball will respond as intended, both on hard returns and on tight net play where the textured surface comes into play, adding to the ability to more accurately place those kitchen shots. Buy it. It will improve your game.

I like this paddle very much. Perfect for my intermediate skill level.

For me the paddle seems to have a very good balance on control and power. Compared to my other paddles, the ball seems to stay on the paddle longer for better control of your shots. Paddle also seems to generate enough power for my serves and quick drives. I had added some lead tape around the four/five and seven/eight positions and added another wrap around the handle to increase the circumference. Paddle feels and plays great!

This is the second Selkirk vanguard paddle. My first was the Invikta version of the Vanguard Power Air that did work for me even though I tried very hard to get used to it. Silkirk has been very gracious to allow my to exchange the paddle for the S2 version. I noticed from the very first three hits I made with the S2 paddle that it was going to be just right. It feels balanced in my hand, it provides good power that is well controllable and produces the spin I am looking for. I modified my old paddle to make it work for me but this one is just right as it is. I am pleasantly surprised that is is just right for me. I can not understand how there can be so much difference between the Invikta and the S2 of the same paddle????

I was able to purchase the Aura Pro through their beta testing program and have been playing with it as my primary paddle for 2 months now. This thing is a truly great paddle. The power is top tier. You can definitely feel the trampoline effect when you hit this thing in the sweet spot. It also had great control for drops and dinks. Based on performance alone this paddle is top tier. When you factor in the price point I do n't think there is a better paddle out there for the money. I recommend this paddle, as well as any other Friday paddle to everyone I play with.

The Aura Pro earned it's spot as my main the first day I played with it. The excellent dwell and spin allow you to tear into the ball with confidence that you can keep it in. I 've played with a few different paddles over the last couple of years, and the Theory has quickly become my favorite. The first thing I noticed was how consistent it feels. The Solid Foam Cyro Core gives the paddle a really solid, controlled response without sacrificing power when I want to speed things up. I went with the 14mm version, and it has been a great fit for my game. Dinks feel soft and controlled, but I still have plenty of pop on drives and put- away shots. The grip is comfortable, and the paddle feels balanced in my hand, even during longer sessions. Love the design of this paddle as an added bonus.

[ I ’ ve only recently started playing pickleball and usually just play casually with friends once a week, but I really like this paddle! The feel is solid and well- balanced, giving me good control over my shots. The construction is impressive for the price — lightweight yet sturdy. The handle is comfortable and absorbs impact nicely. It doesn ’ t slip even when my hands get sweaty, which is a huge plus. The paddle face has a light texture that provides a good grip on the ball, making spin easier to generate. I ’ ve been using the Hype X paddle for a few days now, and it ’s honestly taken my game to another level. The feel off the paddle is super clean — every shot just pops the way I want it to. It ’s lightweight but still solid enough to drive the ball with real power. What surprised me most is the control — I ’ m placing dinks and drops with way more confidence. If you ’ re serious about improving, this paddle ’s a game- changer!

I absolutely love the Choral! I ’ ve been with the Double Black Diamond. It was my go to paddle. The Choral is an upgrade that basically fixed the two thing I wanted from my DBD. Awesome sweet spot. I did add a little lead top to help with the power for deeper returns. I 'm used to using a selkirk S2 and Head gravity lite. I bought this paddle a few months ago and it has far exceeded my expectations — the feel is like no other paddle and I ’ ve tried a ton. Would recommend to anyone!!
5
Snoltor
I ’ ve been using the Radius for 13 months. 16mm thickness is ideal for the control I want, and I can get enough power when needed for my game. Light weight and low swing weight are good for tennis elbow- I believe. Produced great spin on my backhand, I believe surface is finally aging a bit, not quite as much spin after one year, but still decent. Great match for my style of game: short game, placement shots, and occasional power put away overheads.

I was looking for a pickleball paddle to bridge the transition from playing tennis to playing pickleball. I found the Selkirk Vanguard 2. 0 Invikta fit the bill. The dimensions provide a slightly longer and thinner playing surface which was what I wanted. The paddle is also slightly thicker than the one I was previously using. This added the weight I was looking for in a paddle. Finally, the paddle has a slightly more abrasive surface lending it to better control of shots and making allowing for more effective spin on shots when desired. All in all, this paddle delivered the characteristics I wanted. The quality, look and feel are as expected for a paddle at this cost; well done!
5
Has the perfect `` hand feel '' for me. Plus has the power and control as claimed. Even feels like my game has improved. Could n't be more pleased

5
PickleMatt
Been playing with the Hype X for a bit now and I ’ m really liking it. The feel is super solid — nice and responsive without being too stiff. There ’s a noticeable pop that makes drives and quick shots feel really satisfying. It ’s also got a good balance — doesn ’ t feel too heavy but still gives you something behind the ball. Definitely feels like an upgrade without trying too hard. Just a good paddle that plays well.

I am relatively new to the sport — I am still expanding my knowledge on paddle tech and experimenting with the range of Onix paddles. I must say, I love playing with the Onix Hype X! In the few short lessons that I have had, this paddle has helped increase spin and control for me. It's helped make me more confident in my game. I also love the fact that it has an approachable price point and has helped me convinced me to get my friends into it, too!!:)

I was nervous to try a new paddle for my first ever 4. 0 pickleball tournament, but it ended up being the best decision I 've made! My partner and I ended up getting the gold!!! I bought this paddle a month ago because I wanted a foam paddle. Holbrooks Dual Density foam core interested me a lot and it did not disappoint at all! The power is very springy and it can really launch the ball. On the other hand, I noticed the ability I had to control the bal for resets, blocks, dinks, drops, was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this paddle! It will be my main paddle I use now!

It sounds cliche, but this paddle has been an absolute game changer. The amount of power I am able to consistently generate is so noticeable, but there ’s also so much touch/control with the dual density foam core. Compared to some of the other big brand names, this has been the best paddle by far.

Looked up reputable pickleball paddle brands and Joola was one of them. Happy to see Joola was carried at Dicks. With so many choices, had to consult Google on what to look for and how his one fit the bill. Planning on playing more so a little investment now seemed right. Played once so far and the shot control was noticeably better. Happy with the purchase.

I am really enjoying this new racket. I was totally confused about getting my second pickleball racket and I think I made the right choice. I have a long history of tennis as my background, but pickleball is n't too far off to carry over a lot of the techniques. This new racket is allowing me to hit some crazy good spin now and keep better control of my shots. It is also lighter than my prior racket, so I think that is helping alleviate some of my newer tennis elbow aches popping up from this fun sport. I highly recommend this racket for just about all levels of player.

This paddle has every element I want for a great value. The textured surface has great spin, elongated for power, and less thick for less weight and fatigue. It is great for beginners but since the surface is textured expect to replace it. It shows me what to look for when I spend real money on a paddle.

When searching for top rated pickleball paddles, consider features such as weight, grip size, and material. A lighter paddle can enhance maneuverability, while a comfortable grip ensures better control during play. Additionally, the paddle's core material, whether it's polymer or composite, can affect power and control, making it essential to choose one that aligns with your playing style.
The materials used in pickleball paddles significantly impact their performance. Paddles made from graphite or composite materials typically offer a good balance of power and control, while those with a polymer core can provide enhanced durability and a softer feel. Understanding the differences in materials can help you select a paddle that suits your playing style and preferences.
Top rated pickleball paddles cater to various playing styles, including aggressive players who prefer power and those who focus on control and finesse. For players who like to dominate at the net, paddles that offer a solid feel and quick response are ideal. Conversely, those who enjoy baseline rallies may benefit from paddles that provide a larger sweet spot and better ball control.
Yes, there are paddles that are better suited for beginners compared to advanced players. Beginners often benefit from lightweight paddles with a larger sweet spot, which can help with control and reduce mishits. Advanced players, on the other hand, may prefer paddles that offer more specialized features, such as enhanced spin capabilities or a firmer feel for better power and precision.
Grip size is a crucial factor when selecting a pickleball paddle, as it affects comfort and control. A grip that is too small can lead to excessive hand movement, while one that is too large can hinder your ability to maneuver the paddle effectively. It's important to choose a grip size that feels comfortable in your hand and allows for a secure hold during play.
