This is my 3rd Bushnell range finder( I 've lost a V5 and V6 Shift) and it's basically all you need at a reasonable price. Bushnell Accuracy, Slope Function, and Waterproof. It's also really compact so I can stick it in my pocket and it does n't get in the way when I hit. I just need accurate yardages. I do n't need club selection help or front/back of green distances etc. you get with the more premium models. So if this sounds like you, then the A1 Mini is definitely for you. It's a Bushnell with what you need, and at a$ 300 price tag it wo n't sting too much when you inevitably lose it.

I bought this to replace my Bushnell Hybrid which someone stole. I like the small form factor because it easily goes in my pocket so you can take it out wherever you are. I find it very accurate, certainly more accurate than my shot making ability. This is my first range finder after using a watch for years. I 'm very happy with making the switch. This is a solid range finder that has good weight, durability and is super fast. Only downside is that it vibrates whenever it seems to lock- on to something, regardless if it's a pin, a tree or beer cart. I was between this and the Bushnell XE and glad I made the decision to go with this- I 'm not sure I would have needed all the additional capabilities of that range finder.

Just got this and have used it for 3 rounds now. It ’s an amazing piece of technology to have on the course. It is accurate and very easy to tag the pin. The amount of different yardages you can get in an instant is awesome. At first, I was hesitant about looking at a screen rather than through a lens.. and I will say Garmin does not really tell you this in their advertising. However, if you compare this side by side with a Bushnell, you ’ ll notice that the screen actually brightens things up. When I ’ m shooting a pin that ’s in the shade, it is much easier to see the pin than with a traditional laser rangefinder. Also, I adapted to looking at the screen very quickly, and don ’ t mind it now. Overall, I think this gives you way more for your money than spending$ 400-$ 500 just to get pin distances. Would 100% recommend this!

Have used the laser about 10 rounds now. The accuracy of the GPS is awesome, sometimes from over 350, it is pretty hard to get the flag but most of us are n't flag hunting from that range. The pin seeker works well but not sure really needed with the 2D layout on screen. Most of the time( 8/10) the line across the green to show approximate location of the flag on the green works. When it does n't, I think trusting the approach view with front, back and carry over bunkers is accurate enough to use. Wind feature does n't work unless Garmin app is on and active but the app overall is n't as good as many other to track scores and other date. But turn it on to get wind speed and direction. The only thing I do n't like is that it is rechargeable, and not battery. It last's about 2. 75 rounds so be sure to have the cord with you to charge if needed. It does charge really quick if needed. Since the GPS follows what hole you are on, if you spray to other fairway or off too far, the GPS thinks you are on the next hole. You will need to use more of laser to get landing area. I have n't tried changing holes inside laser but maybe it would work if followed with the app?

I bought this about a week ago( 2 rounds so far), but first impressions are all good. Materials and zippers all feel high quality and well built. It does everything you would expect in a cart bag. Enough storage for anything you can want. The cart strap system is probably my favorite part. My old bag used to twist quite a bit causing me to run the strap tighter. With the two extra straps, I can just hook them on and snug the main strap. This will probably help extend the life of the bag as well.
