[ I love these shoes. I 've been running in hoarded pairs of Adidas Boston 7s for the last eight years while hoping the high- stack shoes trend would run it's course. Well, it did n't. The Adios 9 was the most similar lower- stack pair I could find, and after 1. 5 months running in them, they 're great. I wear the same size I 've always worn in Adidas( 8. 5) and they are true to size. The forefoot foam has great rebound and has improved my running times. The sole definitely feels mushy laterally since this shoe does n't have much stability support, but I 'm a long- time runner and have n't had any problems with my knees or ankles since making the switch. I did get a small blister on my right heel initially, but lace locked that shoe and have n't had problems since. I 've run in it from my daily 3. 5- 4 mile runs to longer 13- milers on weekends. If you 're looking for a neutral, lower- stack, very lightweight shoe, you 've found it!

These have become one of my favorite Adidas running shoes now- that means a lot because I have every Adidas performance line running shoes. I just got these last week and put in about 10 miles. I like the previous Rise 2, and this one is better in terms of comfort and shock absorption. The previous version was a bit firm but had a good energy return. I prefer Rise 3 much better as a long run and daily trainer companion.

Just finished the St. George Marathon in 3: 05, and these shoes performed incredibly well. I had no issues with wear or comfort, and the stability was excellent throughout the entire race, especially on a course with both significant downhill and uphill sections. I highly recommend trying them for yourself rather than being swayed by all the negative reviews. Everyone ’s experience is different, but they worked exceptionally well for me. After reading so many great reviews on the Adizero SL2, I decided to try them out. It took a few runs to break in the foam, but the Lightstrike Pro foam is responsive and provides some nice pop. Some reviews recommended going up a half size, but a larger size wasn ’ t available( I wear a US size 13). While the length and width were great, the upper initially felt a little snug. However, they became more comfortable after wearing them for a few minutes before the run. The heel isn ’ t as unstable for me as some reviews have mentioned, especially compared to other shoes I ’ ve worn( e. g. Endorphin Speed). I ’ ve run up to 5K on these shoes and I would be comfortable running a 10k in them. I haven ’ t had any rubbing, hot spots, or blisters, but I have had challenges with lockdown on the right shoe. Perhaps a runner ’s loop will correct this. I am rotating these shoes with the Supernova Rise 2( which I love), but they provide a different running experience. I only have 20 miles on the SL2s, but they have been a really good shoe so far.
