These are my first pair of Adidas running shoes ever. I got a pair from the Boston shoe line. As I heard they ’ re built for long- distance runs. From my experience with them for the last few months. They ’ re exactly meant for that. The shoes have nice cushioning and are responsive. The first thing you notice is that the shoes are very light. Despite being light, the shoes are incredibly durable. I have run over hundreds of miles in them, and they show no signs of wear and tear. I also used them to run in snowy or wet conditions, and they still perform well in them. The fit is slightly on the tighter side, but I still recommend ordering true to size. I would highly recommend them.

I have both the EVO SL and this shoe, the EVO SL EXO, and while they ’ re both great, the EXO has the stability the EVO lacks( but it is less breathable than the regular EVO. This is a minor point.) If you need a more stable ankle, this shoe is for you. I train daily in the regular EVOs and will now rotate with this one for longer runs. Also, this shoe is just so gorgeous!!! Love the shiny silver. Would definitely buy again when I reach its maximum mileage.

sizing wise, i got half size up despite other saying it runs big, and i am so glad i did. i previously bought the boston 12 true to size because the reviews said it ran big, but my toes got bruised after 5mi. the tongue on the AAP4 does not cut into your foot/ankle area like the boston 12, which is great. did runners knot for a nice snug heel fit.
