I read some reviews stating that the tongue was too tall and did find that upon first try on without breaking in, it was stiff and sat up higher than normal. However after 9 holes wearing them, it did soften up to the point where I did not notice it any further. The shoes overall are very comfortable and good for walkers and riders alike.
