I really like the fit and contour of these bibs. I was looking for a burly 3L pant that is roomy enough for proper cold weather layering.( I ski at Whitefish, MT. often, so.....). These check that box nicely without being too baggy. For reference, I 'm 6'- 3 '', 210 lbs., 35 '' waist, 34 '' inseam in most pants. Purchased size Large. Lengthwise, these ride just right with my ski boots on.( Even though the size chart says 32. 9 inseam). The 3 layer `` AdvancedSkin Dry+ '' fabric is bomber, weatherproof and resembles 3L Gore Tex. You will need a base layer for real winter activities like skiing but is fine for a winter day otherwise. One of the treads is peeling but it ’s under my arm so not sure if it ’s worth it to return as I do like the look. Lovely color and matches some other calia items I own. Feels sporty and girly. I love these even in spite of the train conductor jokes my coworkers make when I wear them( which is 2- 3 days a week). The fabric is a nice weight( durable yet light enough for working outside in 80- 90 degree heat) and soft. I do wish I had sized up from the `` true fit '' recommendation though. They fit comfortably now, but there's not much room for shrinkage, so I 'll have to be careful to wash cold and air- dry.( My last pair of the tan version shrunk lengthwise over time because I was too impatient to air- dry them.) For reference: my natural waist is 28- 29 inches, hips are 38- 39 inches. I 'm 5' 9, 140 lbs and I got the size small- tall. I think the medium would have fit better from crotch to waist.

Love my carhartt jackets, shirts, etc I never owned a pair of overalls but man these are comfy and thick for cold days or any hard core outside work.. got the size 34 as that's my pants size but the belly part was a little tighter then i like but give me a reason to lose some weight lol overall I would buy them again maybe just a size bigger than my pants size.

Beyond obsessed with these overalls. They feel more like a jumpsuit than anything. I 'm on the shorter side( 5' 2 '') and the length is still perfect. The drawstring and material gives them such a feminine feel. Definitely going to get the green pair as well.

These were gifts for family members. They fit well and looked great. My granddaughter is about 5 ’ 7, slender, and the black medium Carhartt bibs( item 104049BLK) fit her well. The brown Carhartt bibs fit my 5 ’ 3 ” daughter- in- law well. I ordered her medium- short( item 104694BRN). They have horses and want to keep warm while cleaning up after and caring for them. The bibs did keep them warm while working and were loose enough to bend, shovel, etc. They are happy with them.

[ I have used these ski bibs about 6 times since purchase and have been very satisfied. My main reason was my old pants would n't keep me dry on a stormy day. The very first day they were put to a test with a mix of rain and snow. They passed with flying colors and now I am staying dry even in challenging weather. The fit is very loose.
