[ I 've owned one of these for a year and used several times for glacier travel in the Cascades, including a mountaineering course on Mt. Baker during which I was suspended in a crevasse with this harness for 15 to 20 minutes while others were learning how to haul me out. Despite it being so light, it's actually surprisingly comfortable due to the fairly wide, flat leg loops. It's also very easy to get on and off while wearing crampons or skis, which is essential for an alpine harness.

This one fits the bill for me, it ’s comfy but not too clunky, in the day where most harnesses are turning into G- strings I really appreciate something with a little more padding and just as flexible. My legs change sizes throughout the year depending on the activity I ’ m concentrating on so it ’s nice that the leg loops are adjustable. If the gear loops where a little bigger or there was a third one it would be perfect for big trad climbs, but I pretty much use it for sport climbing.

I have already used it for some tree climbing using a Petzl Zigzag combined with knee and foot ascenders and it did the job admirably for its price point( i. e. It fit her until she hit about 45lbs and then was at its max size and getting a little snug, so we upgraded to the size M, which now fits her comfortably and should fit her for the rest of her life since she's almost done growing. It is plenty comfortable for sport climbing and would be fine for trad as long as you wo n't need to hang for a super long time. I love the solution harness-- I 've been wearing it for 10 years and I just bought another for safety and lifetime reasons. It's super comfortable and I can last long sessions and hang times in it. Love it since it's so lightweight but can still support a lot of gear-- I 'm 6' 3 '' and a man, but I use the women's harness because it is more open in the hips and the straps fit in a better position. The mens was a little saggy for me and not as open.

[ I love this harness. My dog backed out of her old harness and I wanted something that felt more secure. This extra belly straps on this harness make it so she ca n't back out of the harness. It is also very lightweight which is an added bonus. I got it in the blueish/teal color, and I wish I would have gone with a darker color that did n't show the dirt so much. The only thing that I would change is the front leash attachment is not metal and it makes me concerned that it is n't as secure.

[ I got this on- sale. The quality is good( fabric, stitching, clips, handle, etc). My dog has n't been able to get out of it, which is the main reason I got it. It's easy to get it on/off my dog. This should last the lifetime of my dog. Definitely recommend.

[ Bought for a smaller dog and followed the sizing advice. It fits great, is light, and looks very comfortable on our dog. All the important seams looks as strong as they could make them. Real metal ring for the leash snap is also a big plus. I do n't know for sure if it 'll hold up for years without using it for years, but I 'd give it very good odds. A big step up from the cheap one we got from a local store.

Great harness with a wide range of fit! I am on the larger size of humans, and this harness fits great! The waist cinches down from both sides of the harness vs only from one side like my previous harness. This makes the harness stay more centered on my body, and therefore more comfortable to climb in.

Renting gear to get the kids into climbing is a good start but if they want to go more frequently this is a great harness. Great fit for mine ages 5, 7,& 9. The youngest was used to black diamond chest harness and did n't have a problem changing to this style.

I have used this on my son( 7) and Daughter( 4) also their cousins and it fits all well. All 4 kids are different heights and exterior dimensions and we did n't have a problem fitting them in the harness.

[ I wanted my new harness to have a waist and leg loops that could be opened completely so I can put it on when wearing crampons, skis, or do n't feel like standing on one foot while putting it on. I was pleased that the gear lops and the ice clippers I added are lined up evenly on both sides when the waist is adjusted.( I have a 32 inch waist and got the large harness because the leg loop size matched my leg measurements.) It's light and does n't take up much space in my pack.
