[ I 've owned one of these for a year and used several times for glacier travel in the Cascades, including a mountaineering course on Mt. Baker during which I was suspended in a crevasse with this harness for 15 to 20 minutes while others were learning how to haul me out. Despite it being so light, it's actually surprisingly comfortable due to the fairly wide, flat leg loops. It's also very easy to get on and off while wearing crampons or skis, which is essential for an alpine harness.

I bought it in a small and the size range is a bit more narrow than I expected but it still works. I made a 6' 1 '' friend squeeze into it. He complained a bit but it got the job done. Overall, a great harness to have around.

[ I love this harness. My dog backed out of her old harness and I wanted something that felt more secure. This extra belly straps on this harness make it so she ca n't back out of the harness. It is also very lightweight which is an added bonus. I got it in the blueish/teal color, and I wish I would have gone with a darker color that did n't show the dirt so much. The only thing that I would change is the front leash attachment is not metal and it makes me concerned that it is n't as secure.

[ I got this on- sale. The quality is good( fabric, stitching, clips, handle, etc). My dog has n't been able to get out of it, which is the main reason I got it. It's easy to get it on/off my dog. This should last the lifetime of my dog. Definitely recommend.

This is a great harness. Perfect for the gym since it's a single adjustment and easy to put on and take off. I think if I was sitting in it for any amount of time, I 'd prefer a 4 slide, but this is preferred for gym climbing. I have a 30 '' waist and the medium just barely fits, but works perfectly. If you have smaller than a 30 '' waist, I would recommend a small.

This harness is perfect for climbing short to medium pitches but once you have been in it for an extended amount of time it can get a little uncomfortable. I wore it while setting a top rope and was in it for over an hour and it was really comfortable for the time 30 mins but after that it started to be uncomfortable. But to about 90% of potential buyers this harness is perfect and lightweight for sport climbing. Also for figment I 'm a 32 waist and I fit snugly in the small.

[ I ’ ll be honest. I live in NC and I buy Misty Mountain gear by default because they ’ re local. That being said, when it was time to replace my MM Turbo, I really didn ’ t consider another harness. The Turbo is light and comfortable enough for hanging all over a sport project, and has ample gear loops for long trad days. For me, it ’s a great all around harness. I will say, I don ’ t love the new color scheme, but what do I know about fashion anyway. I know this harness is comfy, functional, lightweight, and it ’ ll catch you if you fall.

It is very adjustable, super comfy,( I just hung in mine for about an hour photographing some friends), feather- light and has all the features you would ever need for sport and trad climbing. It does not have ice clipper slots and only has 4 gear loops but easily holds a large rack of cams and a dozen draws. Do not be fooled by the low price. This is a first rate harness.

[ This harness is extremely comfortable, and flattering( as far as harnesses go). I like the moveable waist belt that allows the belay loop to always remain centered on your body. My only critique is that the rear gear loops are very small, and it seems like there was no reason to make them that small.

Got this for glacier travel. It's not the absolute lightest and smallest on the market, but it's comfortable and very easy to put on and take off. Gear loops work well. I have n't tested it in really extreme conditions yet, but I anticipate it holding up well. My only( minor) wish is that it came in a color besides white; it has n't gotten too dirty- looking yet, but I anticipate that will change as I use it more!

Have used other light weight harnesses especially BD. While they have served great and fine but needed more security for glacial peaks& mountains like Denali and Rainier. The solid loops to hang carabiners gives that peace of mind. Bottomline- lightest and strongest in the market. Petzel Altitude comes right close but I like Mammut colors as they are visible in whiteout or glacial peaks like Denali, Rainier, 8000m,.

I bought this originally for rescue in my job as a ski patroller and have found myself bringing it on every ski touring trip where I may need a harness instead of my BD Couloir. While the Mammut does not pack down as small it is more robust and comfortable. The small bit of extra size and weight is negligible in my opinion.

[ We bought this harness in an XS for our puppy when we first got her and she was only 15lbs. It fit her until she hit about 45lbs and then was at its max size and getting a little snug, so we upgraded to the size M, which now fits her comfortably and should fit her for the rest of her life since she's almost done growing. These harnesses are durable and even though they say to hand wash, I threw the old one in the wash on delicate cycle and hung it to dry and it was fine.
