[ This is a great lightweight hammock. It feels sturdy and durable and is easy to set up. The stuff case is sewed to the hammock so not only will you not lose it, but you can also use it as a pocket to put your water bottle or phone in. You do need to buy the tree straps separately, which was a little surprising to me, but all in all it's a great hammock that I intend to bring with me at every opportunity.

[ I have used this hammock system extensively while doing field work in remote locations of the South American rainforest. Setting up the system takes a bit of practice( you want to make sure the tarp is taunt and set up correctly so you do n't accidentally flood your hammock) but will get significantly easier over time. I have now purchased two sets for me and my sister for private use. Especially important here in FL: the net does not only keep mosquitoes away but is also( mostly) no- see- ums proof. I recommend wrapping the cord of the insect net over the `` end bits '' of the net and around the hammock strap to make sure its tight to prevent the nasties from crawling in.

[ As a longtime hammock backpacker, I was n't convinced that I could forgo my sleeping pad, guilt and double hammock for a hammock combo. But after several initial fall nights, I am now excited about dropping a few pounds for the simplicity of the Evolution. The design is well- thought out and the overall quality is good. Did not test the 20 degree rating, but my nights were warm with temps in the low 40s. The Evolution packed relatively small with a compression bag( replaced the factory version for a lighter version), and left a lot of exact space in my pack. Night time temps got down to around 28F and this bag kept me toasty and feeling warm all through the night. It is incredibly light weight considering the fill and has a nice feel to the material. The only thing I would change is to have the secondary foot zipper extend further into the foot box area. It does n't expel heat fast enough if you run warm.

[ It ’s great for warm weather camping if you ’ re a hit sleeper. I ’ ve used just this down to 40 degrees combined with a good base layer I was perfect, I ’ ve also used this locked into my spark pro and it was great I was too warm at 27 degrees. They integrate perfectly and pack down better than anything else.

Got this bag for 2 week vacation in Europe. Worked great and ability to wear in front or back is great for crowded areas and museums. Dual zippers are easy to secure with carabineer for added security. Pockets worked great and easily packed water bottle, glasses, wallet and vest.

[ This sling is the raddest for travel. I ’ m a wilderness guide and I have to pack in all carry ons so the more I can pack onto a flight, the better. My travel hack is to wear this under my jacket but sling it to the side opposite the flight attendant when boarding and it works every time so I can have a backpack and duffel. These day slings look cute when I go out too so I can pack my notebook, water bottle, headphones, hat, makeup bag and scarf into it, literally everything. I have too, one for hiking and one for going out.

[ Took this sleeping pad on a winter trip and layered it with a closed cell foam pad. The combo worked well and this pad was very comfortable. It was also quieter than other insulated pads of similar r value. Pump sack system works well, would definitely recommend.
