I purchased this seat in hopes that it would give me a little more support than the original seat in my kayak. I did n't even remove the old seat. I just inflated the lumbar back( fabulous) I must say and sat it in the kayak over the original seat. The new seat is a little higher on my back and the lumbar area gives me the support for a very comfortable ride. I have had back surgery in the low back area and when I would spend time on the water, I always had back pain. I tried flotation cushions to raise me up higher or behind me to give additional support. Now that I have this particular seat I no longer have to put any additional padding anywhere. I am so glad to have found this seat. Now I can kayak for any amount of time I want. Great buy, great price, for such a remarkable cushion.

I have a regular seat and later on learnt about this lumbar support seat. I ordered one and was glad I did cause after a few hours on the water the lumbar seat definitely helps prevent a sore lower back. I use it in my Advanced Elements Convertible( 2 person) kayak. I would recommend it and trust me you wo n't regret it. Its worth the money.

Chiropractor said he could n't help me after seeing my mri's. I could n't walk in the morning til I had pain meds and a hot shower. Then I would limp. Chiropractor sent me to nero surgeon. L4 and l5 was really bad. I also had 6 other herniated discs. I was scared of surgery and shots. My son had one of your teeters he bought. Scared of not wanting surgery I gave to teeter a try. It's been 2 months of 5 to 6 minutes in the morning and the same in the evening. 2 months later no pain meds walking without assistant. I spent 16 months with upper leg pain. PT and a chiropractor had the same diagnosis and similar treatments, pressure on the nerves in my lower back were causing the pain. I could n't walk 50 yards without stopping to take pressure off my lower back. Thought about an inversion table, my PT therapists did n't think it would help but had no objections. After twice a day, AM and PM for 5 minutes on my teeter I had significant improvement in less than a week. Now, 3 months later, no pain. Just got back from a weeks vacation with lots of walking, miles each day, still no pain. I feel great and believe I would not be in this good of shape without my teeter.

OMG. I had never heard of Teeter except my friend had one and had been using it for years. I never understood why until my doctor said I had siatica issues. I did Teeter the first few days 3 or more times per day for a few minutes each time. I also did physical therapy exercises immediately after each time on the Teeter. When I could feel a huge difference by the second day... literally hours without pain. It's now been a month and I have had 2 days without any pain and I do the Teeter mornings when I get up and before I go to bed. AMAZING!
