These were for my two and a half year old grandson. They come with a stamped steel blade that ha no lateral traction. But with a flat file you can ad an edge by filing at slight angle until there is an mildly sharp edge on the out side edge of each blade. It really changes these to a usable skate and my little buddy was truly skating around the rink on his own. We had to pull him off after an hour and a half when the session was over. He absolutely loved it. They stayed on his feet pretty well, until the wing nut losened up a couple of times and allowed the skate to expand and come off. It could use a lock washer to keep it tight, With a little blade sharpening and a lock washer it's perfect for a toddlers first pair of skates. He had almost as much fun as I did.

I mainly use these for walking but when I do need it for runs, it feels very secure around the top that I wo n't have a problem with slippage. [ If you ride flat pedals, these shoes work very well. The soles are stiffer than a standard shoe which helps with foot fatigue. I do n't plan on running in them. They grip my pinned pedals really well and foot placement is great thanks to the flat tread with little circles. The standout feature in my opinion is the BOA. I can get in and out of these shoes in seconds. The BOA is surprisingly quick to get the right fit. So far the tongue has not bunched- up or caused any issues. A simple pull of the knob releases the tension. As for sizing, I think they are close to standard. I have wide feet and I was concerned that they 'd be narrow. I went up a half size and they fit great for cycling. I 've yet to ride in very hot weather, so I ca n't say how well these breathe. I assume they will on the warm side with the smooth material. The shoes are relatively light weight and I appreciate that the toe box offers a little protection. Time will tell how long they last with my aggressive metal pedal pins digging- in.

[ I bought these a month ago and I 've worn them almost every day since then for rides between 30 and 80 miles. They are very comfortable and the stiffness of the sole has eliminated some plantar pain I was developing with my old shoes. The only objection is that the velcro straps are just barely long enough( I have wide feet). The shoes fit my feet well enough but only with thin liner socks- I 'm not sure these will work well for cold weather rides given my wide feet( and need for thicker socks).

These are incredible! I wish I had bought them earlier in my pregnancy. Some Nike shoes I find to be a bit narrow, and these definitely weren ’ t. I have another pair of lace less Nikes but I still need to use my hands to get them on/off. As promised, these are step in and step out. I ’ m 9 months pregnant and it makes it so easy to go in and out of the house. The soft purple is a pretty color too. I use them to walk the dog multiple times a day, and they ’ re so convenient. I would love these even if not pregnant but they ’ re an added bonus considering it ’s increasingly hard to bend over and reach my laces. Also a great choice for anyone that just wants some shoes easy to go in and out of house, to walk the dog, or you just can ’ t bend over like you used to! Love everything about these.
