What a great shoe it was hard to decide to try another shoe when I have been through so many other Keen Detroit's. But I 'm so glad I did and I really wanted a lighter shoe to walk the warehouse in out on the concrete floors. I even did the recommended size charge which was a little under what size I normally wear and it fits great. Just as comfortable as my other Keen's once I broke them in for a few days. This one has to have the Goodyear welt feature or direct attached or a 3/4 welt. I have really bad neuropathy that I 'm not even 40 yet I 'll be 40 in 2 months And it's a shame of this boot is not 600 to 1000 g

They are comfortable. Kinda ate my heel up a bit but they are new boots so it is expected. But over all I am very happy with them.

[ The materials, color, and safety attributes of these boots initially appealed to me. I wear work/safety boots six days a week, 12+ hours a day. The Carhartt Ironwood boots fit exactly right, and are unexpectedly comfortable. The soles absorb shock and are comfortable all day. The insulation is just right too. My feet usually sweat in boots, but stayed very warm did not sweat in these. The only improvement I would make is to use something other than hiking boot laces. I ’ m very satisfied with them and would highly recommend.

Awesome boots! They 're surprisingly completely waterproof, breathe well, and keep my feet warm all day while working in snow/slush. The only complaint, if you can call it one, was that it took a little while to break in, but I wear these every day, even when I do n't need to, they 're that comfortable.

Needed a safety toe for work in Indonesia. Worried about the climate and these leather boots. Turns out I walk a lot on hard packed ground, rugged rock gravel and super wetlands for long hour days. Super surprised with comfort and durability and made these my go to boot. They top my lightweight hikers and Bean Boots. Mainly due to comfort and traction. Though they get warm in the Low Lands, I have another pair waiting at home to bring back on my next rotation. My feet get warm easy, but the comfort of this boot makes it worth it. Highly recommend this boot for long 12hr days on your feet, even in this Rain Forest.
