The boots fit me well( run a little big, but not a con) and the inner sole is almost heavenly. I work in a warehouse where i stand on concrete 8 hours a day. I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. I love these boots. They are the only ones that fit me correctly. I started wearing the Rebel in 2018. I work 14 to 16 hours a day in the oil field so they ’ ve lasted well for me. My foot size is 8. 5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels `` spacious ''. Not too long or short or even wide but ample- enough to accommodate a thick sock. My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It 's a trade off. The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they 're holding up well. The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way. I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6 '' boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process. What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You ca n't just kick these boots off. Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker. I love these waffle stompers.

I work in mud and water every day and these boots are not babied. They have never ripped or come apart on me, they keep my feet dry. I highly recommend these boots, good job Irish Setter.

Bought 2 pairs of these about six years ago to wear around the barn and working in the woods and running a sawmill. They have been just what my old dogs needed. Comfortable, good support without being tight but easy to slip on and off even with swollen feet at the end of the day. They have been stepped on by horses, had logs dropped on them, been buried in horse manure and mud and yet stayed reasonably waterproof with minimal care. Highly recommend for anyone who likes a pull on work boot.

I couldnt be happier with this boot. I work on cement 10- 12 hours 6 days a week and these boots have held up extremely well. I am now on 2+ years and they are still in good shape. No rips or tears. I change the insole every 6 months or so. I will definitely buy this boot again.

Since I started working I ’ ve only worn redwing boots because they ’ re study and comfortable. These aren ’ t any different. They require a little bit of effort to get on, but they ’ re really comfy( and also stylish, which is a pleasant bonus). I haven ’ t had to work in them in the rain yet, but I don ’ t have any reason to believe they won ’ t perform as advertised.

I have had a pair of these Wingshooter ST for 1. 5 years working in a wet and dusty granite shop 9 hrs a day. I keep track of my miles and I have just over 1000 miles on these boots so far in extremely harsh conditions. They are not worn out yet, but I am starting to think about replacing them in 6 months or so and I will be definitely buying the same boot again!

I bought these boots in March 2020, and it is now August. The first thing I like about these boots is how shockingly comfortable they are, I have never had a pair of work shoes/boots that have been this comfortable. Second they are quite durable, they have survived 4 months of abusive 12+ hour work days on our farm and still appear to have quite a lot of life left. I broke them in by walking 5. 8 miles afterwork on the boardwalk in Ocean City in the dead of winter, my walking club would laugh at me, and I ’ d be a liar if I said it wasn ’ t tough.. I expected a break- in period but these blacksmiths were comfortable out of the box. Soft but supportive and the fit was perfect for me. No chafing, roomy but not loose. The traction was good even in wet weather. And they are fine to wear even during hot and humid days where I live. Chose the copper rough and tough because I think the look is so classic and understated. Love the versatility as well. Can use them with just about every pair of pants and( even shorts) in my closet. I wear them almost everyday and feel they ’ ll stand up to all the walking I do. Well worth the price and looking forward to picking up more Red Wing boots down the line.

Just bought these and very comfortable out of the box. Went up a little from my usual size in Red Wing( 10. 5) to 11. If these were suede, definitely would have stayed with 10. 5. Nice fit and finish. The toe looks more bulbous in photos than in person.

This is my 2nd pair& absolutely love these boots. After the break in period, they fit perfect and are extremely comfortable. Had the soles switched out as for my job, the vibram lugs perform much better. Honey soles may not be for everyone but I ’ m Loving this color combo! Redwing… please make lugs an option!!
