Many are great but I find the smart wool brand to have a softer hand, so they are comfortable to wear, and they take a beating and keep going. There are times I have to wade a creek or run out in snow in socks only and these socks insulate superbly. If wet I can wring them out and put them back in and keep going. Excellent!
