Post 4- mile run. You can tell these shoes are ment for distance, long runs, 6+ miles. A friend ran a marathon in them and the consistency of comfort stayed the whole race. I just bought a pair for a half marathon coming up. They are not built for speed or a ton of action. They do have some action and forward propulsion but the shine in stability got longer than normal runs. Maybe go 0. 5 size up, they are slightly more snug than the Nova Blast 4s. just barely though. I bought these to try in my shoe rotation based on a lot of popular reviews. I can honestly say these are now one of my favorites. The Asics stays soft and comfortable through the entire run, and are probably some of the most comfortable shoes in general. My favorite part I have found with the Asics shoes are the area under the ball of the foot stays soft for your entire run. Almost every other shoe I have does n't do this as well as the Asics. These are great for long, easy, daily, or recovery runs. The fit and feel is superb.

Came to this shoe after 500 miles on a pair of NB fresh foam x more V4, a heavier more cushioned shoe. After initial run, I found these to be comfortable, supportive and very light/fast. Now I ’ m thinking I should have bought 2 pairs. I do about 120 miles a month, so I ’ m curious to see how long they will last running asphalt hills.
