I had a badly bruised and swollen elbow. The Dr recommended a sleeve to wear. The clinic did n't have any on hand so I had to track one down. It's super comfortable compared to the PTEX one I tried on. It was kind of confusing to figure out which way it goes on. I just went off of the pictures on the box the best I could. It does have verbal instructions on how to put it on, on the inside of the box, but I was n't ambitious enough to figure out what medical term they used to describe how to wear it. Within a week of the injury I 'm doing remarkably better. The smallest size they had was medium and it seemed to fit perfectly. I have small arms, thinking I 'd need a small but medium worked great for me.

I just recently had my elbow scoped. The hex pad is the thickest pad I could find for protecting my currently bruised& swollen elbow. I was out in crowded public places& several times someone would bump into my elbow. Thankfully they were making contact on the hex pad which absorbed nearly all of the impact. This product is the most effective wrap I have used. I am using it for elbow tendinitis so it is a little bulky. Mobility is compromised when I use it returning to work after a swim. However, it delivers ice cold to the desired area. It is comfortable and can be used for heat also. It will come in handy for injuries, whenever the next one occurs.

These things saved my knees more than a few times this week during figure skating camp. In one incident I tried to avoid a skater who tried to avoid me by going the same direction. I went down on my knees full force with her in my arms without feeling a thing and was able to keep her back and head off the ice at the same time. on another occasion I went down on my knees after catching my toe pick on a corner, bounced, and slid the rest of the way on my butt. Hightly recommended for figure skaters.

I was looking for a really low profile knee pad for street skateboarding( mostly at concrete and wood skateparks with a street layout). These things are amazing. Very low profile( they fit right under your pants or shirt) and they really take the sting out of a fall. The best thing is that you do n't even notice you have them on( they do n't restrict mobility at all). I took a knee right to the pavement at one point in a way that would have taken me out of commission for a few days in the past and I did n't feel a thing.( I was a little sore the next day, but as I said the kind of fall I had would normally have been a much more serious injury). For the usual bumps and falls, these things really do the job( especially when the board knocks your knees or you fall on an elbow doing a trick). A word of advice for McDavid: I think there is a really big untapped market for you guys in skateboarding.
