I am typically a small and even though I am in my 3rd trimester, I was surprised to find that the jacket still fit due to elasticity in the material. It will be perfect when I get back to my typical size. The two zipping pockets are great to keep my keys secure on a run and big enough for a phone if I am wearing it more casually. The material also did a great job keeping me dry in a slight rain. I do n't believe the jacket is completely water- proof, but it is certainly water resistant, which I would n't have expected with how soft and non- plasticy the material feels. The trade off with jackets that keep water out is that they are not the most breathable, but the canopy jacket seems to have found a nice balance between the two. The vent in the back helped to let some of my body heat escape so that I did n't feel like I was trapped with heat and sweat. Overall, this is a piece that I will come back to often.

I can rarely find time to go for a run until night time and the temperature has been dropping significantly at night time. That is where this jacket has come in. Dressing for my run can be challenging and it changes every day. Lucky, this Run Visible Convertible Jacket is always in the mix. The quality is what I love the most. It ’s very thin and breathable yet the fabric is very strong. It won ’ t tear easily and it ’s sewn tightly in all the right places. The zipper is durable and doesn ’ t snag the fabric when zipping. This jacket can take some wear and tear from both me and Mother Nature and still hold up perfectly. The reflective material in the arms, wrist and other appropriate places gives me peace of mind. I tend to run in the evening when it starts to get dark. I feel comfortable that I ’ m visible to others without having to wear extra clothing or reflective bands. You also have the option to convert it to a jacket, vest, t- shirt, and tank top style. This comes in handy when running in variety of conditions like I do. Converting it to the different styles is a bit challenging at first but after you get the hang of it, you can do it quickly. You also have the option of the hood if need be. I ’ ve run in misty, windy, hot, and cool weather. I can honestly say that this handles any condition. It repels rain, blocks wind and works well in warm or cool conditions. Having only this jacket to tackle all these conditions is very nice. Overall, this is a well designed runners jacket. It ’s well made and engineered with the runner in mind. [ This jacket does run slightly small in my opinion. I personally like my running clothes snug so I felt a medium, which is my usual size, was a good fit for me. If you prefer your clothes on the loose end I would size up. While I haven ’ t needed to convert this jacket to a vest yet, it is super easy to do and am looking forward to using this feature. So far I ’ ve only ran a few early mornings as the sun is rising in this jacket but I am truly amazed with the reflected material that spans across it. [ As the weather is getting colder, I 'm excited to have this Run Visible Convertible Jacket. I was a bit frustrated when I got hot. I tied it around my waist. This was before I saw it converted into a vest. HA HA! As a runner having options for arm protection is crucial. If you dress too cold, you 're miserable. If your dress too hot, you wear out and waste energy. This jacket eliminates this problem. It's great for unpredictable weather and my evening runs in the fall when it gets dark early. The pockets are a bit small and difficult to open. An arm pocket would be ideal. I like the ability to hide the hood. I ca n't stand a bouncing hood while running/ stretching. The vest is great when I 've warmed up and need to cool off. I also used the vest inside the jacket as a pocket for my water bladder. I know it's not what it was made for but it works great! It would be nice if the front zipper pull was a bit bigger or had a cord on it to make zipping up with gloves on easier like the pocket zippers have. And the collar could be a bit roomier to Zip up when wearing a neck gator.

Runs a little big, but I would n't recommend a full size down unless you are between sizes. The large fits me well, and I am normally between L and XL. This is a lightweight performance jacket, for me it's perfect as the warm layer I bring for hiking and being outdoors fall and winter. I run warm, I typically do not wear a coat, this is perfect for me. The colors are AWFUL. How about a decent charcoal gray, navy, or forest green? Something that looks professional and put together but still forest friendly? I do n't like to wear total white because I get dirty, the gray looks so bland and sloppy, like leaving the house in baggy gray sweatpants. The coral, suburban sage green, weird teal blue are off putting, like weird pastels gone wrong. Who decided on these colors? Not only do we have to deal with constant sexism and inequality in the clothing industry, we ca n't even get decent colors. This is a simple, very lightweight windbreaker, that packs into its pocket. It's somewhat water resistant, and dries quickly, but not waterproof. It's in my backpack for every hike, and my carryon whenever I travel. It weighs almost nothing and when it's in it's pocket turned carry pouch, it's about the size of a 3 x 5 card and about an 1 '' thick. It even fits in a purse, a fanny pack, and many hydration packs. I always have one on my boats, whether sailing or rowing/kayaking and have been glad to have it hold in my body heat on a chilly airplane, or as a paper thin layer for skiing, both downhill and crosscountry. [ I did not research any 3- in- 1 jackets before going to the store and I was pleasantly surprised when I spotted this one. I always wear a small size in coats but definitely need a medium to be comfortable. I love omni tech and require that from a winter coat. This jacket has been very warm so far and being waterproof in Oregon is necessary. I never thought I 'd separate the coats, but less than a week after purchasing, they became the perfect separates on a warmer vacation. The hood is not insulated but stays on through the wind. I wo n't need the ski skirt option and it's not a nuisance. I will note that it might be easier to dry the jackets separate after washing, or at least pull inner sleeves out or they will not dry timely. I 'm very pleased with this jackets, more than I ever expected.
