I needed substantial weight and space for my workouts- I noticed shoulders were getting tighter on my other shirts and this gave me space to breathe. If you have wide hips or a belly the cut is generous and wo n't hug down low either. But I guess that ’s because they are an oversized fit. I ’ m around 5 ’ 9 ” and 170. I usually were a large sometimes medium shirt. I had to get a small in these. I wish they were a little longer.
