This is a great jacket. I first got one for my 10yr old and my 8yr old also loved it so I ended up purchasing a 2nd. My girls have other black jackets so I went with this color because it gave another option for clothing and is still very neutral. It is a great fall and spring coat. It is also great for the winter but not in those really freezing temps. The material is thicker than expected but not too thick, and the inside is super soft as well. It is a very well made and comfortable jacket.

I had a hard time trying to get her out of it just to remove the tags. My only concerns is with the light colored sleves and showing dirt fairly easily, time will tell. [ Excuse my bluntness, but you may need to bury me in this jacket because I 'm never taking it off. It's beautiful and cozy, I 'm obsessed. I got the chalk ivory with camel brown- gorgeous. The dual fabric is a great touch, plus I did n't realize the inside is lined with excellent fleece and great stitching. This thing is perfect inside and out. The hood does n't have drawstrings but is small enough and zips up high enough that feels like it would stay up nicely in wind. Zipper feels a touch flimsy starting at the bottom. Pockets could use zippers, although without this does feel like it can pass for an indoor hoodie and not just a jacket, and the lined pocket flaps are cool. The brown windbreaker material at the sleeve cuffs might be nice because I worry the sherpa will get trashed quickly, but oh well. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I got a medium and it is plenty roomy( not too much) since my other medium product felt too small. Whoever complained about taking this in the rain... shame on you, this jacket does n't deserve that!

I bought this in preparation for a trip where I was expecting temps in the low 40s, wind, and rain, but needed a few easily accessible pockets, too. This coat worked perfectly for me, keeping me dry, warm, and relatively protected from the wind( with the hood), too. The lack of an inner pocket was a bit of a miss, but the two outer breast pockets worked well for my phone and( when traveling, and worried about pickpockets) wallet.

I ordered this in my usual medium and it was too bulky. The small was ideal—still roomy enough and so warm, much thicker and warmer than a normal fleece. It ’s boxy so not the most flattering but the print( forest multi) is cute and it ’s very well made. Big pocket in front zips at both ends. I wear it around the house and haven ’ t felt this warm and cozy all winter! Could also wear it as a jacket outside.

Love this vest. It's my 3 rd one because I wear them almost every day from October through May here in Maine. I get about 2 years out of them. My last one had 2 of the 3 zippers fail within a week of each other but it was getting a bit thread worn so needed replacing anyway. I am 5'11 '' tall and weigh 175- 180 and wear a small. I prefer them to be snug to retain heat for my core. Great vest.
