These hold up to moderate abrasion better than drapey polyester shorts. They ’ re perfect for rock climbing. The wide leg opening and stretch makes them great for lifting or running too. He does not seem to sweat more than usual in them as I know some materials can cause that. After two months the threading is still solid and secure. It also seems to work well around my sons shape as he is slender. The black is still dark and has not faded. Overall I really like these shorts for him and hope they can last for his younger sibling.
