OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I have tried SO many other brands without finding the right fit.... i resorted to hiking Montana's Mountains in luna sandals because i could not find a hiking shoe/boot that didnt cause foot pain. I have been waiting for RED WING to remake women's boots from the heritage collection for many years. I thought I would buy the Harriets and be done with it, but my local store did n't carry them, so I tried on the 6 '' mocs just for kicks. I fell in love. I have had these boots for over a month and I think this is the wisest shoe purchase I have ever made. The lead actress on our show bought the Iron Ranger boot the same week that I had bought my red wings. This boot was a little stiff at first in the toe, and I 've always considered my feet a bit wide. They are wearing in nicely and I am glad I did n't try to go up a size to accommodate. I am a true 7. 5. Definitely worth the higher price point. These boots surprisingly go with much of my wardrobe.

The boots are very comfortable after wearing them over a couple weeks. I knew this would be the case based on my other RedWing work boots. I ended up with a size 8 shoe even though I usually wear a size 7 because of the insole that the salesperson recommended. My feet were very tight for a little while until the shoes were broken in. I love the look of the boots for wearing around the office because I hate wearing high heels. The only down side is they squeak very loud whenever I walk on a smooth hard surface, such as tile. Other than that, I recommend investing in these boots.

I 'd been looking for a classic hiking boot to wear with jeans and loved the mens moc style but I never pulled the trigger because they were a bit bulky for my narrow feet, and had a very flat sole. I wear an 8. 5 with a typical arch. Trying these on for the first time was like wearing little pillows on my feet. They have more arch support than the mens style. I wear them with a thicker camp sock and they are perfect, I did not have to go up a 1/2 size. Very quality boot and I love supporting American made local companies.

I love love love these boots. They are very well crafted and soft, beautiful leather. I am frustrated because although they are reputed to be narrow, I think they are too wide for my feet. I have the correct size for length, but they must be too wide in the heel as my socks continually fall down into the boots and they are ruining my thick, expensive wool socks, TWO pairs. I have walked about 20 miles in them so far and have gotten a bruise and scab on one ankle. Despite this, I love the way they look and feel, and just wish there was a solution for solving the fit issue and keeping my socks up.

I got a nasty blister on the heel of my slightly longer foot the first day, but with a bandaid, these were well- broken in by the fourth wear. Now they feel awesome! I bought factory 2nds from a buddy and I could n't tell you the difference between those and the 1st. A little cleaning and conditioning and it looked brand spanking new. I got these in a 7D. For some odd reason, they fit very similar to my pair of Beckmans which are a 7. 5D. Both are a touch loose at the toes. Maybe I 'm a 6. 5 in Redwings. No problem though, I threw in a pair of insoles for my Iron Rangers and they fit like a glove now. If you have a store near you, I highly suggest going in person to get sized. The leather is of fantastic quality. Great overall look and feel. I highly recommend this iconic boot! My next purchase are the Roughnecks.

The first thing you notice when you unbox your boots it the strong smell of real quality leather. I was immediately in the mood for a good Maduro cigar and a glass of my favorite Islay whisky. Following that, you peel back the paper and see the true color of these boots in your chosen color. I picked copper rough and tough. The photos do not truly demonstrate it's color but, there are some hints of the color in the photos. It has a richness and variation of color that is amazing in person. Since most stores do not stock these, it is a bit of a leap of faith but, it is well worth it. I had to size them down one half of a size. They do not come in a wide width at this time and I measure for a wide shoe but, already on the second day, they were loosened up enough that I have no trouble now. I would recommend wearing them around the house one day with two pairs of socks on. You 'll be surprised how quickly they break in if you do n't mind doing that for a day. Based on the described construction of the boot, when you receive the box, you may be surprised that it does n't weight several more pounds. It's not a very heavy boot even with the extra stitching and quality leather. Wearing it around the house and then later out on the street, it will continue to break in and loosen up. The break in is not bad at all. I would compare the break in to any other quality leather dress shoe that is American made. I felt an improvement in just a day and it will get better everyday for two weeks. The shape and style of the boot are clean and simple yet rugged. I believe this could easily sneak into a business casual realm if needed, especially on colder inclement days. The oil resistant soles have good traction on most surfaces so far. I have another pair of boots with deeper heavier tread for working around the house so, this pair probably wont see as much winter time work. They did get puked on by the kid last night and after that I walked through some mud right after getting out of the truck. It all seemed to wipe off and reminded me to invest in the protectant. I 'll be ordering that soon. If you buy cheap boots that are n't real leather, crack, fall apart or generally wear out every year or two, I would advise you to take a trip to the store, make the investment now and after you break in your new boots, you can decide for yourself.

Just received my Copper Blacksmiths today and after a quick application of oil, I 've been wearing them most of the afternoon and evening. Incredibly comfortable from the start( apart from being a little stiff) and the leather is a beautiful sight, changing colour and tone with each movement of the foot. As the other reviews seem to agree the laces seem a little short and I did n't go a size down as I 've pretty wide feet. This means they 're maybe a touch long but great on the width.

I had never bought a `` casual '' pair of boots before especially taken a leap of faith since they cost much more than I wanted to spend, but after about 2 years of wearing these for work/play/casual in all types of weather every other day, if not everyday, the comfort alone has been more than worth it. I have abused these boots and still receive compliments in whatever the setting. I find myself walking just a bit slower while wearing these because you feel an extra sense of confidence as the heavy( quality) sole hits the wood floor, concrete, gravel, dirt, and lawn.

I absolutely love these boots. I sized down a size. Typically I am a 9. 5 in flat shoes and I purchased the 8. 5. Out of the box they were uncomfortably snug volume/width- wise but I had enough room lengthwise. After about two weeks of everyday wear and a few day- long rides, they fit perfectly. They feel like they stretch to about a full size larger on volume after they are broken in. The leather is super high- quality, stitching is flawless, and I view these as a purchase to last at least a decade.

I was originally looking at the Clara, but after seeing the more narrow toe box, I went with the Iron Rangers and I am so in love. I wore them straight out of the box for a week in West Texas, and the only breaking in that affected me was the shaft and one spot on the inside of my heel on the left foot. I came home, cleaned them well with saddle soap, oiled them with neatsfoot oil, and that( in combination with the initial break- in) made them the most comfortable boots I 've ever worn. I figured they would loosen up after a couple of days. They did n't. Because I wore them for 3 days, I figured that customer service would n't take them back. I like the boots a lot but I ca n't wear them to work cause I thought I was getting the steal toe for my job since they pay for them. But I ended getting non steal toe cause I went with the soles with the imprint which I thought were steal toe also since they pop up while looking at the ones without the insoles printed. So! I decided on the imprinted ones took me a week before we noticed at work they were not! So! Ca n't wear them at work. Wish they would have been steel toe. Great comfortable boot though.

After about two weeks of breakin they are comfortable but tight enough to provide appropriate traction. I think after a couple months of molding they will be on the top for comfortability.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

However I have 2 pairs of Rebel Pro boots I recently purchased. I have many boots by many manufacturers. These are the most comfortable and easiest to break in boots I ’ ve owned in 50+ years of cowboy boot ownership. I was a total R toe with leather sole devotee until I bought these square toe/ composite sole/ walking heel Durango boots. I wear them every day…. my R toe leather sole boots are now relegated to the back of the closet. No comparison in comfort and fit. All of my boots make that nice “ whoosh sound ” when putting them on… However the Durango boots are so much more comfortable for all day wear( and go whoosh). Great padding/ insert. Great traction via sole design. These have changed my perspective on what a cowboy boot should be. Awesome boots! I bought 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, YMMMV.

I bought these for my wedding but unfortunately they don ’ t look good under my pants do to the type of suit it is. These are now my daily boots and I love them. Super comfortable, they look amazing, a little tight but I ’ m guessing that ’s from the extra cushion on the inside. Never bought this brand but will definitely buy again especially for the price point. Hoping to get several years out of these boots.
