I 've worn these a few times a month for about five months now and I 'm impressed by their waterproof ability. Recently I had to work for several hours out in the rain and every layer I was wearing ended up soaked- but my socks and feet stayed dry! Construction wise I 'm concerned about how hard they are to pull on- I 'm afraid they 'll wear out at the heel early.

I own/have owned four pairs of heritage Red Wings. Really, I love them all and am a big fan…they ’ re perhaps my favorite brand for sentimental reasons and quality for the cost. But these I just lobe as they are the only pair that have become completely comfortable without some slight compromise of comfort. They did take some breaking in but nothing like my 877s. And now are super comfortable while providing great protection, support and durability. I have feet issues and sadly My Iron Rangers and 877s both hurt some days when wearing. These? Never. I ’ ve owned several pairs of Blundstone ’s Chelseas and these are FAR better made and superior in comfort. I haven ’ t seen any of the fraying at the top- of the elastic others have encountered, and I ’ ve worn them most days for three months. Really love these. Like…seriously. Um… can you tell? I wear them 95% of the time, on daily 2+- 4 km dog walks, outdoors, year- round and they 're at their peak look and feel. The single possible improvement I made- and that's on me because we have 4 months of winter here- is to replace the soles; the originals are quite tricky on frozen ground. Or a great workout, just watch your head yeah? I chose Vibram, a quick fix and better suited for that.

Nice boots. I always order a wide in a cowboy boot and have several pairs of Rebels in wide. These are WIDE and the toe area is really, really tall. Like wiggle your toes and not touch the top tall. I am not sure why these fit so much different than all my other Rebels but they do. To solution, I added another insole on top of the non- removable insole already in the boot( this was also a first as all my other Rebels have a removable insole). I am still happy with them, but they certainly fit different. Additionally, they are substantially darker brown than the pictures would indicate. I hope this helps someone!

I read some mixed reviews regarding sizing, so I felt that it was helpful to focus on that for others that are unsure. I am a true 6. 5. I ordered a 6. 5 and they are correct from toe to heel- not much extra room, but pretty standard sizing. I do, however, have slightly wider feet and I find the boots to be very snug. I think they will break in nicely, but be aware that they will feel tight if you have wider feet. Overall I like the show!

If I do n't wear them for a while they become narrow and tight but give them some heat or mink oil and they loosen back up and once they get hot from body heat they loosen back like my childhood baseball glove. This is my first pair of suede/roughout type boots and my second pair of Durangos and WOW am I in love with these!! My absolute favorite pair right now for sure. All of my shoes are a size 8. 5, but my first pair of Durangos I bought an 8 which ended up being too big and gave me blisters, so I decided to try a 7. 5 for this pair and they fit SO perfectly! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and have yet to give me a blister or sore foot. I guide trail rides in the summer here in Montana, so I put these bad boys to work right away, and man did they hold up! I spent 12+ hours in them some days and we do a ton of walking between rides, but my feet were never sore or uncomfortable in these. They are fantastic to ride in as well and I really enjoy the thumb holes to help pull them on, as my arches can make that difficult in certain styles. I 'll be curious to see how long they last and how the suede/roughout holds up, but I have high hopes! I highly recommend these boots but be sure to double check what size you need before ordering.

I ’ ve had these for about 3 months now and I must say they ’ re my favorite boots to wear for work or going out. They look great, feel perfect, and are so easy to get on or off. The only thing is I feel so nervous about ruining them because of how much I like the look of them. I have never loved a pair of boots more. Comfortable. Stylish. Rugged. Did I say comfortable? I had a young man tell me `` Those boots are freaking awesome. '' I am ordering another pair just to have them on hand for when these go. I love everything about them including the laces. I cleaned and protected the boots with fluid film lanolin oil. Darkened them up a bit but in my opinion it is the best stuff for leather. Thank you Timberland for big and wide sizes.

I have been looking for a Non- Slip Work Shoe/Boot for 15 years and I think I hit the Jackpot!!! I have been a Georgia Boot Customer since I was in high school and could afford to splurge on my own boots so I am a huge fan. I am a chef and had not thought about Georgia Boots for the kitchen and that is a mistake I am so happy I am fixing. Non- Slip is great but the comfort is hands down the best I have found after 15 years of trying a different company every 6 months I wo n't leave Georgia Boots from now on. This is my shoe. I am also a bigger guy and the fatigue is a thing of the past. Wish I could give these 10 Stars!!!

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

[ When you find a pair that fits you as if it was made for you. You stick with them. Usually, brands tweak things over the years so when you need a new paired, you ’ re screwed! These are a classic. The first pair I bought myself in 2014, side by side with their replacement that just arrived today. Pulled them out of the box and it was like meeting an old friend that hasn ’ t changed a bit. The fit and feel, perfection. Now, I literally hiked the soles off of the old pair. The toes cracked. Laces frayed but original. Should I have replaced them awhile ago- I did with the charcoal version. But kept these in my closet as a remembrance of my first pair of hikers that took me through the PCT AT. They wear well, almost zero break in, and the scars just as character. Thanks Asolo for a great boot and for keeping a classic, an unchanged classic.

[ Bought these boots to replace another hiking pair. These are definitely more durable. Takes a minute to break in and get boot tongue in right spot, but worth the effort! Helps keep me up to speed walking trails with my active dog! Recommend for sure! Green laces make the boot! The details!
