I bought this on a whim not knowing how to use it. First try was on a Ned rig and it worked really well, after the second cast I got three decent size bass. Thought how else can I use this. It was a windy day so I thought I can just throw this out on a drop shot and let the current do the work and surprisingly it did. After about five minutes with this just sitting out there, I never moved it, a three and a half pound bass decide to eat it. Great little bait.

Been using swimming flukes since they came out... have caught bass, snook, reds and speckled trout. Use them as a swimbait Texas rigged with a pegged bullet weight. Use them weightless worked real slow and easy, just twitch them or bring to the top and let them sink back down to the bottom or buzz them on top. You can go fishing with only this bait and always catch fish. Houdini is my favorite color... What a bait!!

I have switched to the Zoom Swimmin' Super Fluke as my `` go to '' bait for both small and largemouth bass fishing. They can be very effectively fished as a surface bait in very thick aquatic vegetation and are extremely effective when fished that way for largemouth bass. I suggest for Bass and crappie you use the smaller two sizes but if you 're looking for bigger bass or striped bass then you should go ahead to the larger sizes. I think any fisherman would be wise to have at least one of each size in the black and the blue in their tackle box at all times. I only wish I could afford to buy more than I have and I would give them to kids to help them get started. To me this is the Best bang for your buck lure on the market.

The 2 1/2 inch Rebel Jointed Minnow is above Excellent in the Southern Australian rivers, streams& lakes for both Brown Trout& Rainbows. It's swimming action is so much more than enticing, extremely life- like. Other styles and brands just ca n't capture the same seductive swimming action which the fish love. When the paint wore off I repainted the lures with a chartreuse back, dark green stripes& a lumo white underbelly which made it even more effective on cloudy overcast days. Great work Rebel.

Best lure I have ever used! I had one for over 15 years and could not find them again until I found them online today! I have caught 100's of fish on that one lure alone( 3. 5 inch jointed minnow). It had chipped paint and scratches from so much use over the years but still performed flawlessly. I had lost it this past weekend on a monster bass and I was devastated. Now I am buying several of them in several different sizes. No need to bring a tackle box if u have this lure. Works great working the banks from a boat or from shore casting out. This bait has a tried& true history in Manitoba Parkland trout lakes. Long lined and taken down to between 5- 8 feet we 'll catch most species of trout that we fish for. The only wish I have for this awesome lure is that they 'd bring back the `` baby bass '' pattern which in some of our lakes resembles the chubs our trout love to eat. Use on heavy rod fast action 7ft- 7' 6 with braid minimum 50lbs. I use a frog weighted 5/0 1/8oz screw lock. These things work like no other I 've tried every freaking brand that makes them and zoom out preform all of them. You 'll go through a bunch until you figure out how to make them last but it's worth it with these guys. You can throw this in open water, over pads, pond scum you name it bass will destroy it guaranteed!

I varied my retrieves and using a steady retrieve I started getting hits. In two hours I landed 6- 8 sheepshead( not a glamor fish, I know, but fun after 30 years away!), a white bass and a couple smallmouth( one threw the hook in the water though.) I was quite pleased, and with clear water at my location I could see the action. I liked it and obviously so did the fish. I 'll have to by a new fluorescent green one, though, as my line broke at the not while bringing one fish in. The fish swam off with the lure still in its mouth. Some lucky fisherman will get a lure.

I have been using Zoom Fat Albert grubs for several years and they are the best in my opinion. I fish them on a jig head', swimming them back to the boat using a lift and drop retrieve and sometimes a straight retrieve. You need to try both methods to see which one works the best each day. I also use them as a trailer on spinner baits. And do n't forget to try them on a safety pin rig like the old beetle spin but with the Fat Albert in stead of the beetle.

T- rig with 1/4- 3/8 oz tungsten bullet weight and a 4/0- 5/0 off set worm hook. You can use a 1/16- 1/8 oz bullet weight if you are using spinning gear. Cast to some cover and let it set on the bottom for a stretch with occasional twitches. Hits most often occur as the worm is falling to the bottom... but I have also had hits shortly after the worm hits the bottom and is just setting there. Stitch it along the bottom by lifting and dropping your rod tip 6 '' or so. Slowly works best, but the bass will tell you what they want. Do n't be afraid to tie on a big worm when you are fishing for largemouth bass! I 've had bass< 1 lb hit this worm like a train. I keep my colors simple... black and green pumpkin are all you need. Those 2 work in all conditions. A great worm by Zoom!!

I used to use strike king rage swimmers and they were decent, but if I can catch on 6- 7 fish per bait on average with the googan baits, versus 2- 3 with strike king its a no brainer. Everyone knows these are hard to find. This is about an 85% copy of that other brand that everyone wants. It ’s slightly bigger at 19mm. The legs have decent or “ good enough ” action. With this one being cheaper than that other brand by a good amount it ’s a nice pickup. Still made of TPE so very durable.

At first I was very skeptical about the googan baits but I decided to give a few different styles a try. The bandito bug has turned into my favorite flipping creature/craw soft plastic. Whether it ’s a pegged texas rig, jig trailer or my favorite... a Picasso wobble head. It always catches fish. When I first saw the bait in person, I thought it was too little for the lakes I fish but once I saw the action under water, I was very surprised at how wide those back legs kicked.. it gave it a larger appearance which was perfect. And that scent is amazing. Stays strong until the bait is unable to use. And yes, they are a little soft and can break easy but that ’s the price you pay for a bait with good action.
