Excellent quality and value as you get a jighead and 2 tails. If you striper fish, a soft plastic sand eel is a necessity along with 2 other lures in the northeast. There's many options but what is nice about the Madeel the soft plastic is pre- formed with dedicated hook shank guide so there's no need to measure or keep retrying to center the hook or where it protrudes. Sometimes a Tsunami or Hogy eel does not work throw a Madeel and see if you get a hookup. Its' what happens to me all the time when one profile is seen too much another offering produces a strike. The plastic is also formed to the contours of its jighead so you will always get a consistent swim action.

Red/shad is my go to color. They 're absolute bass candy. The action is far better than any other soft worm on the market. The slightest action from you rod causes the tail to move which bass ca n't resist. Lastly, like YUMs description says, these worms take multiple hits from bass and do not require to be replaced after every fish. GREAT JOB YUM!!!!

I 've been using Zoom products for several years now and use the swimmin chunk as a trailer on a 1/4 ounce jig and also a 3/8 ounce jig. i usually dip the legs in a chartreuse garlic dye, and most of my jigs are a shade of green( usually a green crawfish) not sure if the bass see this as a bluegill or crawfish; only that it catches fish!! i fish an extremely clear, fairly deep lake so detail is very important.

I used to use strike king rage swimmers and they were decent, but if I can catch on 6- 7 fish per bait on average with the googan baits, versus 2- 3 with strike king its a no brainer. I caught 20 fish( 19 bass, 1 panfish) last night, and a lot of them were caught on this baby. The bite is causes is unreal. It's so simple to use, aswell. Everyone knows these are hard to find. This is about an 85% copy of that other brand that everyone wants. It ’s slightly bigger at 19mm. The legs have decent or “ good enough ” action. With this one being cheaper than that other brand by a good amount it ’s a nice pickup. Still made of TPE so very durable.
