My son got the 2024- 10 USSSA The Goods( Travel) and the 2023- 10 USA The Goods( Rec) for xmas. The 2024 barrel is much longer and is larger than the 2023 model( 2 3/4 '' compared to 2 5/8 ''). The 2024 model is better balanced, has more pop, a larger sweet spot, and an excellent sound off the barrel. The 2023 is great for a USA certified bat, but does n't compare. Time will tell about durability. I 'd like to see a better grip on both. I also wish the USSSA model had the same finish as the BBCOR, the graphics took a step back this year.

All kids should swing different bats and get the bat they feel confident in getting through the hitting zone. That said, this bat is gas! It is a well balanced bat with a nice sweet spot and great pop. If your kid likes a balanced bad( think CatX), then they will love this one. My older son also got it in the drop 5 and it hits bombs!

The bat took about 50 hits to break in. I 'm noticing more of a pop when she hits on the barrel. Very light and a comfortable grip. The bat was purchased online through the Dicks app. When my wife went to the Robinson location to pick up the bat they charged her again. Was n't a big deal but instead of refunding my money on the online e purchase they made us drive 45 minutes back to the Robinson location to refund us the double charge that was their mistake. We 're very busy people and did n't appreciate that at all.

My 8 year old son swings this pretty well. He's swinging a 30/20. When he barrels it up, no vibrations. Hit on the handle or end cap, he feels it. I do n't see that as a problem. I see that as reinforcement to make sure you hit the ball with the barrel. I mean you really only have to touch a hot stove once to learn that lesson. All kidding aside, for$ 100, he really enjoys it. He's hitting balls at hit trax coming into him at 30mph exit velocity between 61- 63mph so there is pop there

Just received this bat today. 31- 11. Daughter refused to swing anything but a CF until she saw Jocelyn Alo hit with this bat at a game. She absolutely creamed a HR so far that you could ’ ve where it landed. My daughter used it today for tee work and soft toss and is hooked. The pop and sound are incredible.
