I use this on rented rowboats at a park in the area to fish. There ’s plenty of power to move you at about 4 mph. I like the continuous variable speed to fight the wind. It uses the battery sparingly. Cuts through weeds decently well. I might upgrade to prop.

[ Upgraded my boat and needed to upgrade my trolling motor. I was looking for a unit priced well that still has all the features. My last boat had a Terrova and it always worked without issue so I decided to go for another. Love all the features and third party accessories available. While the included remote is feature rich, it was too big for my liking. A quick search resulted in the availability of a micro remote. I now have two remotes I use simultaneously, the original for my passenger, and the micro for myself. Seems like they either listen to customers or personally use these products themselves. I see 15- 20 year old boats still rocking their original Minn Kota. That's a good indication of longevity.

I bought a 2023 Tahoe 185s with the fishing package on it and it has this model trolling motor on it with a Lowrance hook 2 4x fish finder at the trolling motor and my question is what other fish finder unit can I replace it with that will hook up to the same wire connection coming from the motor?
