I got this for my 11 yr old( last fall) who plays rec ball. He really likes to swing a one piece and this bat has been his overall favorite. It's so well balanced and his hand/eye coordination are so good, he rarely misses( he likes to strike out looking not swinging). The grip is sticky, and the ping of the bat is deafening. When we 're at the indoor cages, it's really easy to find him simply due to the ear shattering noise this bat makes. He's probably hit 500- 600 baseballs with it on a pitching machine@ ~60mph and there's no damage to the bat at this time.
