[ I 'm in the process of fitting out my hybrid bike for bike packing trips. I bought this bag as I liked the size and it has a semi rigid shell. Very happy with the product. It fits perfectly on a flat bar, has a center divider and plenty of room for a cell phone, power bars, keys, and various other items you want to keep easily accessible. Also like the exterior loops you can attach/clip small items to. Not sure about the water resistance, but I usually put cell phone and other water sensitive items in zip lock bags, so I do n't see that as an issue. Bottom line, it's a nice sized and well designed bag that meets my long distance cycling needs.

This bag attaches to my back bike rack easily and securely with tough Velcro straps. After looking at much more expensive bags that need a special rack, this was just what I needed. Plenty of space to store what I need when riding and doesn ’ t get in my way. I love it!

[ I used this brand on my old bike and it stood up to ware and tear like a champ. So I purchased a new one for my new bike. It installs quickly and holds my road bike essentials; 2 spare tubes, 2 CO2 cartridges, mini tool, levers, car key and a few other small items. My blinking light easily hooks on the rear of the bag. Excellent product and a fair price.

Love this bag! Everything I need to ride fits in here. It is well engineered for the real world. Great fit and finish with quality materials. On trips when the bike does not go, I convert it into a regular duffel bag. I just wish that instead of the dividers being collapsible, that they were completely removable. I will definitely be making more Thule purchases.

The single wheel trailer is really well designed. I love how you can disassemble it and fit it in a compact car to transport to your next adventure. Assembly was pretty quick and easy. Customer support for a defect was great. Once you get moving you don ’ t even recognize it ’s behind you, until you get to a hill, but that ’s part of biking. It would be great if the cargo area was about 6 inches longer for the things that I do.

I went grocery shopping with just the two Burley bags, but bought more than planned. I worried while leaving the store whether 30lbs. of stuff would all fit. It did, with room to spare, plus a 4ft. Kryptonite chain and a tool kit. No noise, strain or balance problems.

Great little bags to snap on to the back of my Coho XC trailer. They hook on nicely and securely. The rolltop works great. It would be nice if they were just a little wider at the bottom to fit my yeti lunch bag. Otherwise, a great addition to the trailer and my other Burley waterproof bag.

Great 'little' bag. The 8l actually does n't fill a spot in my kit, but these are great waterproof bags. I really like the muted gray color and the white inside to make it easier to see items inside. Good size for spare clothes on a summer trip. Light and durable!

This bag is perfect for backpacking and hiking. This bag kept down clothing perfectly dry on a week long trek where it rained nonstop. The tab on the bottom of the bag is really helpful for hanging the bag off of my backpack. I highly recommend this bag.

I have used the 8 liter bag for both backpacking and front country travel, it's great for both! I think the thickness of this bag is the perfect intersection of durable and light- good for a food bag while camping or a dirty laundry bag while traveling. I have never had a S2S buckle break on me, but it's cool that it comes with a field replaceable buckle. I 'm not totally sure what the benefit of the hang tab on the bottom of the bag is for, but I 'm sure there is a reason for it.
5
Alex C.
I use these lightweight dry bags on many caving expeditions. They are fantastic in that they hold up well and weigh almost nothing. The addition of the field repairable buckles has also really secured these as some of the best dry bags on the market. I would still prefer the seal design to be changed into more of an envelope style to ensure an even greater seal at the top but beyond that I really recommend these as long as you can put them in the secondary containment like a backpack.

[ Even after decades of researching and purchasing various backpacks for school and commuting in one form or another, and even after spending what seemed to be large amounts of money for them, I never had any idea what you c/would get if you truly `` spent big '', and after this purchase, I 'm shocked at the quality of the packs I found to be acceptable over the years. This is absolutely the best pack I 've ever owned and it was worth every. single. penny. Highly, highly recommended!!!

The description does n't do this bag justice. The roll closer is easy and looks clean and nice. The zipper that allows access to the main area is great; it will enable so much space for packing what you need into the bag. The laptop sleeve is really deep, so it holds the laptop stable. The ability to use the compression straps is awesome and allows the pack shape to look so much cleaner when packed with daily needs, it also keeps you feeling like your stuff is n't being moved around when you 're on the go. The harness and Hipbelt are comfortable and easy to adjust. 10/10 for this bag!
When selecting a bike gear bag, consider features such as storage capacity, organizational compartments, and attachment options. Look for bags with waterproof materials to protect your gear from the elements. Additionally, features like reflective strips can enhance visibility during low-light conditions.
Bike gear bags come in various types, including saddle bags, panniers, and handlebar bags. Each type serves different purposes, such as carrying tools, clothing, or snacks for longer rides. Understanding your specific needs will help you choose the right style for your cycling adventures.
To determine the right size of a bike gear bag, consider the amount of gear you typically carry on rides. If you often take long trips or need to transport multiple items, a larger bag may be necessary. Conversely, for shorter rides, a compact bag may suffice.
Yes, bike gear bags are designed to accommodate various cycling styles, including commuting, touring, and recreational riding. Depending on the type of cycling you do, you may prefer specific features or styles that cater to your needs, such as increased durability for off-road biking.
Bike gear bags are typically made from durable materials such as nylon, polyester, or waterproof fabrics.
