They are very comfortable and the stiffness of the sole has eliminated some plantar pain I was developing with my old shoes. The only objection is that the velcro straps are just barely long enough( I have wide feet). The shoes fit my feet well enough but only with thin liner socks- I 'm not sure these will work well for cold weather rides given my wide feet( and need for thicker socks).

I wear size 14 US athletic shoes and got a 49 size( about 13. 5 US) in these shoes and am very happy with the length. They stay tight and do n't stretch over the ride like my old ones did. Much easier to hike- a- bike without the steal toe cleats like my old shoes too. Maybe less than stellar: Feels kind of bulky in the forefoot sole if you 're standing on rocks, but it's tolerable. I do n't notice it when riding though. Not sure how long the BOA system will last. It seems like I 'm going to pull it apart when I disengage it, but time will tell. I would recommend these. In fact, I 'm going to get my girlfriend a pair.

[ Awesome shoe. Wore it for 620 miles in 6 days riding down the pacific coast highway. Only issue is that it will tighten up tighter at the top nearer to the knob and be slightly looser in the toe box. So you have to overtighten to get the toe box tight then release the knob slightly to loosen it up over the top of your foot to even it back out again.

[ After MANY road miles and many years on our original Pearl Izumi road bike shoes, my husband and I decided to replace our clips and shoes. Our only point of contention is that mine are cooler than his! The color and style is sweet with a muted gray and a little touch of orange. Everybody knows that orange is dope. It does n't hurt that they match my new Subaru, either. Oh, and the fit is perfect! Ride on, friends, and whenever you can be cooler than your husband, do not hesitate.

I use these shoes for 2- 3 spin classes a week- so not an expert rider but ride enough that I needed to invest in spin shoes. The soles are fairly stiff( good for spinning), nice snug fit. Installing the clips was an easy process. Have received a few compliments that these shoes do n't look like spinning shoes- they look like regular shoes.

I bought this 3 weeks ago and some of the reviews mentioned that the size runs big but I found it does n't so I exchanged it for my normal size. They seems to be very good so far and best for the price. I did have to buy the attachment since it does n't come with the shoe but I found the reason is that it attachment depends on what cycle bike you have and there is no universal one.

[ 4 stars because walk in these on a camber makes the sides dig into my ankles. Maybe that will get softer as they get worn in... I should be riding not walking anyway! Walking grip is decent though and the shoes flex a good amount to not feel like you 're wearing flippers. Sizing is dead on and same as my flat freeride pro shoes. Super comfortable and the BOA is a god send. Never used boa before and want all my shoes with it. So easy to tighten them EXACTLY how I want and even easier to just pop them off with the other foot. They are very airy compared to the freeride shoes and probably best for summer riding but quick enough to dry out. I use these shoes probably a little different than most. I pair them with maglock magnetic pedals and the flat soles make grip really nice. The front pins do n't touch but they arnt needed with the grip I currently have. Only draw back for anyone else who uses maglock pedals, the cleat cutouts are tapered in the back and interfere a little with the plate bolts. I may cut some of that out and see how it works to give just a little extra room but happy as is for now. Happy with the purchase!
