I have sensitive skin and the fabric feels silky and not at all itchy, icebreaker is my favorite brand for wool clothes bc they have the softest, silkiest knits. As other reviewers have mentioned, the armpits are intentionally large. This is an athletic cut that is supposed to be looser, sort of like a basketball jersey. I like the armhole fit bc I find the top does n't get as sweaty since the fabric is n't snug in my armpit. And it breathes better as I move around. As they say, it's a feature not a bug.
