I take around 100K steps/week( love the gym after losing 170 pounds!), so I can honestly say that I put serious mileage on my shoes. Hoka just was n't staying up with my intensity. Changes in their customer support and rapidly declining durability forced me to look for alternatives. I initially went into Dick's to try on a Nike Free Metcon 7, but they were hitting my ankles too high for comfort. I had been a Brooks fan pre- 2022 when I moved to Hoka, and this shoe is bringing me back to Brooks. It hits my foot well for support but does n't cramp the toes( like Nike). The cushion is slightly less than Hoka, but it's a trade- off I 'm willing to make. These look really great, and I have n't had no issue breaking them in. They are slightly heavier than the Hoka Mach 6, but it's not been enough to slow me down. My only complaint is that the color selection is heavily limited. I wish they had more color choices than what they currently have. But the actual feel and fit of the shoe is fantastic! I 'll report back in a few months for durability.

[ I 've been a die- hard fan of another running shoe brand for as long as I can remember. In fact, it's pretty much the only brand I 've bought since I became an adult and started taking fitness seriously. So it takes a lot for me to switch teams. That said... Brooks may have just converted me. These shoes are ridiculously comfortable. The cushioning is next- level super soft, incredibly bouncy, and they make every step feel a little easier on the joints. It's almost like running on tiny trampolines( in a good way). As someone with wider feet, finding the right fit can be a challenge. These hit the sweet spot perfectly. They 're not narrow and restrictive, but I also do n't feel like I 'm swimming in them. The fit feels secure without squeezing my feet. The extra cushioning and thicker sole definitely give me a little extra height, which I do n't mind at all. The best part is they do n't look overly bulky or clunky like some max- cushion shoes can. They 're surprisingly sleek and incredibly lightweight. Bottom line: if you 're looking for a running shoe that's super comfortable, lightweight, and packed with cushion and bounce, I 'd 100% recommend giving Brooks a try. I was n't expecting to love them this much, but here we are.

[ I am obsessed with these sneakers! First off, the fluorescent orange color is bright but not obnoxious. It is very in! Secondly, these feel like walking on CLOUDS! I had such a pep in my step wearing these and got so many compliments. My running stride is improved and I feel faster! I absolutely love these and would recommend to a friend.

[ These Ghost Amp ’s are great for my daily runs and hikes in my neighborhood- which has many elevated climbs and trails. I appreciate how lightweight and sturdy they are as the routes I choose are not always the smoothest. The heel has a nice bounce to it that really does help give me a boost when I need it most which is almost always trying to get back uphill. I have a slightly wider than average toe base and I have always appreciated Brook ’s running shoes because they are true to size and the toe base is shaped in a way that accommodates me perfectly without having to go up a half size or order a larger width. The sole looks thick and heavy but they are indeed lightweight and won ’ t fatigue your foot or slow your pace. I love the color, design, and the breathability of the material. My feet always feel comfortable no matter if I am wearing them running, cross training, weight lifting or on a long walk with my dogs. The Ghost Amp is versatile and is a solid performer for me wherever I take them. Such a good choice!!

[ Upon opening, I was reminded of the 80s moon shoes I used to own. I feel like floating on a cloud in these! I was skeptical because of the sole thickness, but they truly help move you forward when you walk and run. I tried these out at a nature trail with my daughter and on the treadmill. Both times I felt light and comfortable. They are breathable, true to size, and give you a little pep in your step! The color attracted a lot of compliments, too.
