It has nice strong arms but I don ’ t even need them to get up because the height is great... not tall, but my knees aren ’ t above my hips. This is the prefect chair for the sideline. Seating for two people but the carry bag isn ’ t much bigger than a regular quad chair. I love not having to juggle an extra chair. If your going solo to game with kid the extra seat is a prefect place for their gear then they have a seat when they need it. It ’s also a great kid chair since they can lay down on it and they have room for the toys. The pockets on the back are a fantastic idea. Good place for sunglasses, sunscreen, or snacks. Oversized cup holders give a lot of room for the big water bottles out there or coffee thermos ’s with handles. The arm rests are adjustable with a cord in the back and the cup holder even have little holes in the bottom so if you spill a drink in them you don ’ t have to worry about it standing and growing mold. The back has 3 levels of recline which are easily adjusted by pulling out the pin and sliding the bar upwards. Another great bonus is that there is a storage pouch on the back of the chair which is removable by unzipping it from the chair if you need to take your belongings with you when if you decide to explore. [ I ’ ve now had this chair for several months and have used it quite a bit. It folds down nice and compact and is high quality in its construction. It is very comfortable and typically is the first chair taken for a seat at camp. I didn ’ t realize how much I love having a higher back to my chair! It does take more time to assemble than a standard folding camp chair. The trade off of longer set up time( maybe 60 seconds more) is well worth the compactness when broken down, lightweight, quality of build, and over all comfort.

[ I was nervous to try this, but I ’ m so glad I did. 😁 When I put it together and lifted it with my pinky finger, I was sold before I sat down. I ’ m 5 ’ 7 ” and 140lbs. I can rest my neck on the back. My boyfriend is 6 ’ tall and 180. He can ’ t rest his neck but is still very comfortable in the high back chair zero. We both got in and out of it without thinking, so it wasn ’ t too low to the ground or too tight on the hips. Absolutely now my favorite piece of gear!

I bought two of these and keep thinking about buying more. I use this chair most frequently at dispersed campgrounds where I want to be able to quickly take items in while I 'm away from the site. I got a second one because it's so compact and easy to have on hand for friends who do n't have as much camping gear. More often than not, I 'm wishing that I had another one or two because people always seem to underestimate how nice it is to bring chairs camping and they co- opt my seat when I get up. Several friends have bought this chair after using my extra one. The convenience factor really grows on people by the second time we camp together. They want their own to toss in their camping gear bins. You do n't have to remember about packing a more luxurious chair that does n't even fit in the bin and then it taking up more space in the trunk. It's not the most cushioned chair in the world, but its still a good one to add to the arsenal. The points to attach the seat to the frame are very stiff for the first dozen or so uses, but it gets more pliable in time without becoming so pliable that it's concerning.

Had mine for about a year and I love this chair! It is small and light which makes it easy to carry on day hikes and to the kids' football and soccer games. It's also comfortable enough to work as a regular camp chair. I also really like that it is simple to put together and the hammock style makes it easy to shift around to get comfortable.
